Flores was a cool lil town and my last night there which i was actually hoping to not have cause i wanted to be a bus turned out to be a lot of fun! It was a cool group of about five of us that turned the night into some kareoke! Horibble kareoke ha ha the only saving grace was that the kid playing the guitar really could play and had a decent voice!
Good times so i had to catch the nine pm bus that next day which was a good day! I got my money and my pictures back!!
The bus to the lake took about 16 hours all said and done! The craziest thing happened tho! I was talking to this couch surfer named nicole who was in the area travelling so we had been planning to meet up but something (usaully on my end) would change. Anyways nicole was in the shuttle that picked me up from my hostel to go to the bus station! Wierd right?
Well she was only going to antigua which is about three hours from the lake where i was headed. I kept to my plan cause i bought a ticket to the lake and she was gonna be in antigua for ten days and id be there in 3! But we never ended up meeting eachother but had some good convo on the bus!
When i got to the lake i was in aw! Its sooooo beautiful with it surround mountians and volcano and indigeonous people!
I stayed at zoolas which was a fun hostel and leaned how to play ass hole! met up with per and thomas right off the bat! It all worked out nicely!
I almost got raped by a drunk girl... Yea lol long story ask About it if you wanna know ha ha.. Moving on :)
Took the most amazing hike ever to the very tip of the highest surrounding mountian over looking everything!!
The clouds were constantly changing the view it was jut a trip!
After a couple days of fun and chillin around the lake i headed back down to antigua! A cool lil town!
I met this girl on the bus down that absolutly drove me crazy!! We disagreed on everything..
She said you make me tired ..
I was like well its ok cause if you can stay awake for two more minutes i'll be gone!
Shes like no... I'll wait for you !

Really! I went on a hike up to the cross that over looks the the city! People told me not to go by my self cause people are often robbed on the path.. But i wasnt bring this girl and she would wanna go anyways. Shes lazy and openly admits it..
So i went ! It was cool! And there was a cop on the trail! Plus i kept a high alert of my surroundings!
I stayed at a placed called the jungle house which was super chill and i called it a pretty early night anyways cause i was up at six to go hike the pakaya volcano!!
This volcano was somethin else! I was hoping to see lava ! Cause i heard you can. No go on the lava but it was hot enought in holes all over to roast a marshmellow reL quick!
And its all lava rock and melted lookin crazyness! It was cool! I climed in a warm hole that is totally underground and just feels like a sauna!!
During the hike i met two older girls that were on a work vacation from canada and they were cool so i hung out with them that night in antigua which was chill! We played trivia at an irish pub! In guatemala how bout that!
The trivia was sooo hard it was border line in enjoyable, but im not gonna complain cause maybe im the stupid one ha ha!
Tbe next morning it was to the border and at least to copan ruinas just accross the border of honduras!
HOTEL CALIFORNIA
Ok so let me explain!
Capan ruinas is a small lil town with some nice ruins that i was maybe gonna see and maybe not gonna go see. There 20 bucks and i was just gonna stay forthe night and have seen some amazing ruins.
So anyways i check into this hotel that a local actually brougjt me to right when i stepped foot off the bus (which i usaully never do) but i was tired and said what ever lets check it out!
You check in at the bottom of a pretty decent looking hotel and end up staying in a dorm on the roof! Next to bo's house!
Lol bo! Omg! This guy! He turned a part of the patio into his house and has been living there for 7 weeks!
He is a 61 year old WELL traveled hippie and has soooo much to say! So many stories to tell and hes actually harious ha ha hes just one of those people you cant explain you just have to meet!
Dont worry i have some recordings of his rambols that actually in the end have a very true deep meaning!

So there were 3 argitinians, a chinease girl, and a 40year old travelling mom from mexico who came and went and it was just good CHILL times on a roof for the week!
We ate great for cheap! Smoothies every day with fresh fruit from the market, where i became a regular :) We Made coffee with rain water if the power was on and the water was off. Ha ha you were lucky to get both! I actually never missed a sunrise tho! Up early every morning! We also walked up the mountian one day and about a mile in came across a cool lil village with kids and before you knew it your surrounded :)
They make dolls and flowers out of corn husk! An we got invited to watch them be made by a 12 year old girl in a lil concrete hut with a hammok and some pads (their house)
The whole experience of copan was great!
So really i was supposed to stay one night and be gone into the highlands but like i said i checked into the hotel california!
Im gonna miss bo! But i know i'll see him agian!
When i finally did leave it was sad cause he was bummed i was really going.. After saying i should for the last tree days but it is what it is.
He tried hard to get me to stay and thought about coming with me ha ha you guys almost all met bo! Lol
I caught the seven am bus to san pedro sula then from there took a bus into the capital! Im not big on big cities and my room is depressing!
Its really really really white with one bed and enough room for my back pack! But im outta here at 5 am!

Just kidding maybe not.. I woke up this morning and found out that all busses going south to niaragua and into costa rica are canceled because of collapsed bridges..

I basically took ten hours to go to the capital and sleep in a great little tiny all white, really really white room with a white bed in the ghetto. And now im headed back noth to copan to the hotel calofornia lol!
Bo is gonna freak out ha ha !
Im gonna see if i can change my flight and if not well? Plan b whatever that is.
Omg i swear on my life and everyones reading this i saw a dead guy on the high way wuth cones around him covered in branches... An lie his hand was gone..

Centeral America!! Mexico, Belize and sone of Guatemala !
Blog!
Five crazy days in cancun!! All inclusive and all you can drink! Sick crowd and amazing staff!
I left feeling like .... I can't even explain but hangover doesn't quite explain how shitty I felt..
Then I went to tulum to see some awesome ruins right on a cliff over looking the carribean!
When I first got there all I cared about was getting back to "normal" I got a room that had a bed and a fan. Lol not exactly cozy.. The fan sounded like a plane was on the roof bu it had to be on . I sweat all night in my boxers. It's soooo hot!!
I cut out after seeing the ruins at about three thirty, and met a cool kid named Sam! We was trying to get thru the border and down to Belize the same night but I was supposed to meet someone in Chetamul the border town on the Mexican side . But it sucked there and Sam would be fun to travel with I went on to crossing the border and we got thru customs pretty easy the bus parks everyone gets off you go thru the check and the bus wait on the other side! And old school bus that is ha ha
We got to corozal which is the bodertown on the Belize side and tried to catch a ferry out to San pedro the north island off of Belize but missed the last one. So we grabbed a hostel type deal and crashed out after actually what turned into a random in expected nigh out on the town with local. This guy kinda scared ms at first not gonna lie ha ha but what ever we have some beers and he smokes a fat joint and says let me take you guys some were cool man! We go quick in the car. I'm like yea let me just watch you smash three beers and smoke a blunt to your face and get in your car ha ha . We told him we'd rathe walk and it Took some convincing. But we end up walking about twenty minutes and after about ten mom I don't see lights, paved roads, can't hear anything I'm like hmmmmm. Ok. Where's this place at man is there gonna be a lot a people? He says no not really man but promise you it will be fun man you lucky I do dis for you, it's rights past the cemetery. lol! Any ways we get there and it accounted to being his "girls " place . Prostitutes expense beers, ugly I mean ugly girls trying hit on you and trying to get you to buy drinks.. Porn on the juke box. Swear to god ha ha !
I wAs starting to think were the hell would a taxi be around here and could I find my way back?
But we made it clear that were not the right candidates for this shit! I told them check it out no disrespect but beers are double price here and I have an absolutely stunning beautiful girlfriend back home so you wanna take us back?
He did and we stopped for some chinease food ha ha and he tried to score on a free meal. Really a decent guy but just a flat out muche and hustler apparently .
So we past out with a full stomach and woke up at 6 to catch the first ferry in the morning to San Pedro!
(by the way mommma your gonna love that island, it could have been my favorite place so far!)
The people are sooo soooo cool! True rasta man, any body will help you and Amy body will shake your hand!
But we met a cool girl named jen and she showed us around for some good eats and we ended up staying on the island which wasn't planned. But Sam liked her and I'm no rush!
Everyone drives gol carts and gets to no you it's just wild! We went out fishin with the kick ass locals on a boat called most high lol! Everyone names there boat! Sam caught a barracuda and the fillaid it and made ceviche for us! Mmmmmmm cooked in lemon and lime !
The night started at the hostel with a game of kings and a local "raper" named smokey joined but he was out after one game ha ha. Light wieght! Then for us the night turned into kareoke ! Ha habgood times ! Ive never embarresed my self so much lol ! After kareoke was Dance party at the end of a Leif and the after party was at my favorite bar big daddies ha ha and the dance club was called wet willies lol
Fun night tho and we jumped in the pool at about four in the morning to call it a night!
We missed the ten thirty shuttle to the small south island which turned out to be kick ass cause we hung out laid in hammoks did some yoga! I like yoga by way I'm gonna start I think :) to top it all off we got a ride in most high to caye caulker the smallest island I've ever been on in my life! You can walk bare foot one side to the other in ten min! It was cool! That first day we were a bit hung over and kinda tired just Sam and I Jen had to go back to work. But Sam and I cruised around got a hostel a really cool hotel actually and then we went for some dinner. Live lobster next to a grill you pick to put it on go sit down and you get a plate of coleslaw rice and garlic bread for ten bucks! Crazy! And tastey ! Did you know the lobsters down here have no claws? Wierd? Yea ha ha
So it was an early first night on the small island, then next day was soooo awesome I woke up took a shower and Sam asked me my plan and I obviously didn't have one cause rarely do I ha ha! But we ended snorkeling the second largest barrier reef in the world!! Beautiful coral and amazing fish and up close and personal with sharks and sting rays!!! Saw on turtle :) it was amazing! I'll ne'er forget it ! For fourty bucks! I had the coolest video underwater of all the big silver fish, sharks, and sting rays but sadly ughhhhh so sadly that's all gone.. Let me tell you. on the Boat ride back they give as munch alcoholic juice punch stuff that you want well I swear we drank 2/3 of a five gallon crystal gyser jug between ten of us but to weren't really drinking and I think you can probably guess who helped out alot :) me!
So we got to the island with a good bus gathered up a good group and went out to do it up bare foot of course !
...... Don't worry I'm getting to the camera ha ha
But we hung out at this bar for a while that was way fun! A rasta band with turtle drums and this is the best part or maybe worst for some ha ha! ( good lookin don't be mad at me ;) ) but the have a square with a hundred numbers with a net around it and you bet on which square the rooster is gonna shit in ha ha ! People go crazy!
Any ways a lil bit later we were sitting on the steps and of a sudden this local guy took off pretty quick and said he'd be right back. I thought it was strange realized inhad just taken a picture and my camera was sitting next me and was gone...... I freaked out looked for him bla bla then told locals that I'd five who ever brought my camera back 100 American dollors with the pictures, they were all over it! My card just my cArd came back in about 30 min so I check to see if there were pics using someone's camera and they were all deleted. My entire trip... It was my card. The bar tender was a sweet heart and was pist and new who took it and went to the cops. Then later the same guys sees me after I went out dancing and tried to forget about it. Hes like "a man I got your camera and your chip, come talk to me"
I was like feelin a good buzz and ready to bargain! Ha ha. So I go to a house/ hut and it's three of them one of me and the guy that stole my camera obviously wasn't there. He tells me listen man I'm trying to fucking help you, u understand me! My smart ass didn't understand him ha ha .. I was like man you took my shit and I'm trying to by it back? How are you helping me? Lol
Whatever I gave him 100 Belize dollors which is fifty u.s and I told him when I get my debit card thing straight I'd give him the other half!
He almost didn't go for but check it out he doesn't want that camera the police and every one on the island know about it! He got the message.
The next day he came lookin for me at my hostel.

I was like man i thought you were comin at two you gotta give me some time.
Then I got a boat and took off to Belize city! Later foo ha ha jk but seriously got my camera back for fifty American bucks :) but no pics :(
Belize city was a bit rough , I walked from the dock to the bus station ( about a mile) and left!
I headed west into San Ignacio which is right on the border of Guatemala !
San Ignacio is a cool little town with nice ruins and of course cool people! I saw a guy I saw in the island he's a local buddy ha ha friend but lookin for a favor . He took me to a place called bellas! The cheapest hostel in town but it rocked I told the lady (Natasha) I had to pay with a card but se didn't take them and let me stay anyway! I crashed out after a nice skype sesh with my momma and my gorgeous girlfriend for the first time! :) had a great pizza but was bothered by a couple drunks ( my momma can vouche) she met him via skype lol!
In the morning I was up early showered and went for coffee at flavas! Good breakfast to :) mark was the owner an we really hot it off!
He gave me a map to the ruin and I made my way about a mile and a half up hill with my Luna sticks! That town loved em :)
The ruins were great! It started raining and I did "tried" some yoga! Loved it!!!!!
This was Sunday so I was hoping to straighten out my debit card issue but what can you do on Sunday..
Went back to bellas and she said honey just make your self comfortable and invited me to dinner!
Just about when dinner was ready a guy named triston from the uk came walk-in up an was lookin for a room! I was the only one staying till he came along so that was cool! We hung out shot the shit and ended up walking down to what's called branch mouth. It's where the rivers meet there's a sway bridge that is half under water and you can still walk across it! Kinda cool! A rope swing and some murky ass water! Rope swing was mellow but fun!
Layer that night we went out for some beers at marks place and had a cool casual night! I gave a kid the bracelet that menka gave me but I have pictures to prove it made his day! But not just his day his b day!
She took it well :) cause I still have my necklace that i love!
Then we found a couch surfer I've been talking to an his buddies from Australia ! They were cool!
When we got back to the hostel Natasha and max the owners had some friends over and were drinkin so we joined them! Good times and good laughs ha ha!
Then it was roof top for a night cap and off to bed!
Woke up in the morning tristen went on a run , I felt guilty an did my av work out. Ugh.. All this street food I better keep on that ha ha .
I had breakfast again at marks and the rain came in strong!! But I was determined to cross the border!
I ran through the town in the pouring rain with all my stuff and the people called me under an awning and u chatted with then for a bit! They were from benkay the border town jut before Guatemala so the piled me in There mini van ad gave me a ride to the border! Dropped me off and I was on my way! I trade tristen just enough costa rican colones for Belize dollars to get me across the border! Perfect!
As soon ad I was through customs I was swarmed... Taxi, shuttle, food, I carry your pack, I I I I I I ..... I just tuned them all out and kept walking the farther you walk an the Closer to the bus station to get the cheaper your gonna get out of the madness for!
So I walked and hear everything under the sun until I agreed to 40 quetales to flores which is about an hour drive for $6.50 .
Ha ha this Mexican dude fell asleep on my shoulder on dirt roads.. I'm like uh..? Good pic tho ha ha :)
So got to Santa Elena which is walking distance from Flores and u was gonna walk it but you can take a tuk tuk for 5 quetzales and I'd never take one. So I said what the hell why not! Worst first experience ever.. At first they were so cool! The guy in the back with me was drunk! Then we et to Flores and I give them there 5 and the driver tried to make it 5 for my bag and five for me... I was like no! Hell no..
Every one says it 5 sorry that's wrong.. He was like no man... Fuck man... I went for my backpack and he was holding it down. So i yanked and turned my back and he fucking pushed me out of the the little tuk tuk! They drove off yelling shit and made a scene.. Lame.. Thats how i arrived to my hostel lol . What ever I saved a buck :)
This hostel Is really cool tho! I met some cool peeps had a couple beers and what ever! Went down to the lake chilled on the peer and they were catching a bus at nine so the took off and I went to bed. Which was a good call because I woke up at 3:30 this morning to catch a 4 am bus to Tikal which are some of the baddest ruins in central America!! And the were ! They're huge and the wild life is awesome! There deep in the jungle and you see crazy animals, monkeys, army aunts concurring an spreading in thousands to kill what ever the see ! It's cool! And it's on my far book!
About 12:30 we caught a bus back and I went to eat with a kid I met this morning named andie and just came back to the hostel! It was an awesome day today! 10/4/11
I saw a view of never ending jungle with ruins in the distance popping above the tree line, while sitting on a hinge ruin! Something I'll never forget!
Now I'm finishing this up and figuring out my card situation cause I'd live to catch a ten hour night bus to Guatemala city tonight!

Then we found a couch surfer I've been talking to an his buddies from Australia ! They were cool!
When we got back to the hostel Natasha and max the owners had some friends over and were drinkin so we joined them! Good times and good laughs ha ha!
Then it was roof top for a night cap and off to bed!
Woke up in the morning tristen went on a run , I felt guilty an did my av work out. Ugh.. All this street food I better keep on that ha ha .
I had breakfast again at marks and the rain came in strong!! But I was determined to cross the border!
I ran through the town in the pouring rain with all my stuff and the people called me under an awning and u chatted with then for a bit! They were from benkay the border town jut before Guatemala so the piled me in There mini van ad gave me a ride to the border! Dropped me off and I was on my way! I trade tristen just enough costa rican colones for Belize dollars to get me across the border! Perfect!
As soon ad I was through customs I was swarmed... Taxi, shuttle, food, I carry your pack, I I I I I I ..... I just tuned them all out and kept walking the farther you walk an the Closer to the bus station to get the cheaper your gonna get out of the madness for!
So I walked and hear everything under the sun until I agreed to 40 quetales to flores which is about an hour drive for $6.50 .
Ha ha this Mexican dude fell asleep on my shoulder on dirt roads.. I'm like uh..? Good pic tho ha ha :)
So got to Santa Elena which is walking distance from Flores and u was gonna walk it but you can take a tuk tuk for 5 quetzales and I'd never take one. So I said what the hell why not! Worst first experience ever.. At first they were so cool! The guy in the back with me was drunk! Then we et to Flores and I give them there 5 and the driver tried to make it 5 for my bag and five for me... I was like no! Hell no..
Every one says it 5 sorry that's wrong.. He was like no man... Fuck man... I went for my backpack and he was holding it down. So i yanked and turned my back and he fucking pushed me out of the the little tuk tuk! They drove off yelling shit and made a scene.. Lame.. Thats how i arrived to my hostel lol . What ever I saved a buck :)
This hostel Is really cool tho! I met some cool peeps had a couple beers and what ever! Went down to the lake chilled on the peer and they were catching a bus at nine so the took off and I went to bed. Which was a good call because I woke up at 3:30 this morning to catch a 4 am bus to Tikal which are some of the baddest ruins in central America!! And the were ! They're huge and the wild life is awesome! There deep in the jungle and you see crazy animals, monkeys, army aunts concurring an spreading in thousands to kill what ever the see ! It's cool! And it's on my far book!
About 12:30 we caught a bus back and I went to eat with a kid I met this morning named andie and just came back to the hostel! It was an awesome day today! 10/4/11
I saw a view of never ending jungle with ruins in the distance popping above the tree line, while sitting on a hinge ruin! Something I'll never forget!
Now I'm finishing this up and figuring out my card situation cause I'd live to catch a ten hour night bus to Guatemala city tonight!

Stuck in thessoloniki, amazing time in Istanbul! And now a cave city!
So this is for sure the furthest I've gotten behind on my blog, and during a time that sooooo much has happend..
So I'm pretty sure I left of at getting to thessoloniki in Greece! Thessoloniki was supposed to be a three hour stop bu turned into about two days because the trains went on stike..
This was not exactly the best place to get stuck.. The "cheap" hotel I was looking for in the lonley planet book had been shu down for three years ha ha so I just walked into a place called atlas hotel and bargained for 25€ a night for my own room with two beds and a bathroom and shower down the hall.. It wasn't anything great, but the cleaning lady was such a sweet heart! She was the only person at this hotel place I met, well besides a 70 year man that had more interest in my itouch than anyone I've met ha ha! We exchaned information right before I left and he really want to by it! Lol that's a whole nother story in it's self!
Any ways the first day in thessoloniki was pretty much trying to get a bus or train ticket. Both failed. The second day I failed agian because it was a holiday for the Greeks! But day went by a little bit faster and I stayed out later that night! I got to talking to two of the black men that sold fake purses and watches, that was interesting but they were cool!
When I was sitting there a little kid was just starring at my Luna sticks so I started spinning the and he went crazy ha ha so I handed them to him and he started running lol!
I took a pic! It was so cute ha ha! the parents were like great now were gonna have to give these back.. It was a challenge I hadrosaur act like I was leaving but the boy was still not happy ha ha!
I played with the sticks for half the day! There wasn't much else to do in thessoloniki.. I tried a frappé witch is very very good coffe with a thick foam that you can scoop out with the chocalate filled cookies they serve you! Mmmmmmm
Any ways I spent most the day on the ocean side just relaxing waiting for the day to go by, and people watching.
The next day was my last day hopefully cause the strike was said to end! I got a ticket to istanbul for 7:30 that night and just wasted another day untill my train!
It felt good to get on the train! The guy I roomed with spoke no English but we made it work! I showed him pics of my trip and my beautiful family! He was impressed! And gave me a beer!
After about an hour they moved me to my own room which was super cumfy!
I just layed in bed and starred out the window!
at about 3:30 a.m I get woken up by two big cops and the train conductor yelling pass port.... Visa..... Passport...... Visa
They opened my door and told me I needed a visa...
I'm thinkin what.. Ha ha where exactly do I do this at, I thought when we got to Istanbul I would get one at some type of customs office?
No! It's at 3:30 in the middle of now where in a small office lol and it was freezing!
This couple from austraila didn't have the money and they were blaming it on eachother so I loned them 20€ which was all they needed and they were soooo happy ha ha!
I wasn't gonna say well shit.... Good luck and get on the train ha ha..
The visa cost 15€ and wasn't to bad to get we were kinda walked/ forced thru it!
So they kept are visa but I could sleep better this time cause I've been on a train were they kept it! And like the last train they came around and woke people up with about twentie minutes untill the istanbul train station around 9 in the morning!
When I got off the train I found the austrailian couple and I they went to an ATM and game me 50 Turkish lira which is a little more than 20€ so it worked out!
Then I was in the giant city of Istanbul thinking oh were oh were could my hostel be?
I hopped in a cab after a big debate of me not paying 15 lira, I showed him seven and said yes or no, he said... Come!
Ha ha sweet!
he found my hostel and turned out to be a cool guy! Matter a fact I saw him two days later and he started honking I was yelling what's up to him!!! The asian girls I was with were like uhh how do you know him ha ha. He was my taxi driver to the hostel!
They laughed!
but the first day in Istanbul was cool I checked in with out paying cause I didn't have enough for three nights in lira..
The people in turkey are soooo friendly, some are trying to sell you something like a carpet or a jacket or invite you into there resraunt! If you go along with them you gaurenteed to be treated like gold but hassled a bit and always with a free cup of turkish tea!
But my first experience is one I will never ever forget! I was genually scared no joke....
I was at the blue mosque and this guy started talking to me and I asked home to take my picture, he was super friendly and offered to show me thru the blue mosque! I walked with him but was trying to get a feel for him, mind you I've been in Istanbul for like an hour and every body is just soooo friendly!
So I take my shoes off and he explains to me the mosque and when we get out he said would you like to see the aya Sophia, I said yes I'm going to head over there for sure! He said well all show you the aya Sophia as well, but first I would like to show you my family buisness! I sell carpets and there so beutifle and after we go to aya Sophia!
Even tho I really didn't want to I said ok but Lets be quick cause I'm meeting someone later.
He said yes yes we go now and take five min!
So I'm fallowing this guy back towards my hostel and he takes me to a carpet store right up the street from my hostel, there's a bunch of carpets on the first floor and there apparently a basement were he right off the bat wanted to take me... He said come down here I show you more carpets, I was like no it's ok walking slowely..
He could tell I was being very hesitant and he said man don't worry your my friend!
I said ok i know were freinds bt were are we going?
Come see my friend is ok..
So I went down the and he sat down on som chairs and said sit down my friend, I said this is nice and my heart started pumping...
Then it was like some movie or something four guys walk in shut the door and turn on bright lights!
How are you my friend?
..... I was thinking ok well what do they want can I pay them or will I just never walk out of this basement...
I said I'm ok how are you? These are nice carpets you have!
I looked at the guy who brought me down and he almost had a smirk on his face.. Like a "got one" type look"...
I talked to one guy about the type of threads for about one min and was like breathing hard Ha ha...
So I just suddenly said you know what I have to meet somebody but thank you.. I paced towards the door and walked quickly up the stairs and pretty much ran to my hostel lol
I ask the receptionist, hey man do you know those guys that sell carpets up there?
Hes like uhh yea why? I told him what happened and he calmey said, yea I think they were trying to sell you a carpet.
Ok...... I was confused really...
five salesman and me in a basment with Bright lights and door shut wouldn't be my method of choice!
I was scarred!
Any ways it turned out to be funny cause durning my whole stay I'd pass the carpet store with people I met and told the story to and the man would be like "how are you my brother?still confused!"
And I was like yea man still confused I'm not gonna lie that was the first time on my trip I was genually scared!
But on the last day in Istanbul I exchanched info with him cause he's comeing to America like he does every year and maybe I will see him agian on the west coast!
Hes really a funny guy!

Any ways when I was at the hostel I met some asian girls! Judith and .... I'm drawing a blank on the other ones name..
But they talked me into going out, which wasn't hard! They were giggaly and just asian ha ha!
We went to look into the Turkish baths and they were way to expensive, 50€!
You can find them for cheaper but I didn't need to do them any way...
So we got in a taksi (taxi) and went to meet one of there Turkish friends they met in there progam from bursa!
The taksi driver was cool ha ha but the girls hated him, they thought he drove in circles but really the were one ways.
Any ways we got to taksim which is an area full of bars and shops and people!
We met timoche there friend and he brought us to a table were two other girls were sitting! They were both so sweet! One was from Istanbul and one was from Italy!
The one from Istanbul tought me how to play baggoman! My first game I one ha ha begginers luck and she showed me a better option to every move I did, but i learned ha ha!
Theres quite a bit of stradegy to the game and the Turks are just impressive to watch! There fast!!!!
After drinking some beers, and watching the Asians smoke nargely (hookah) for there first time we headed out for a bite to eat!
We got some traditional Turkish food that was good!
they let us sample everything before we ordered and I wanted it all!
Then it was time to call it a night! Timoche drove us back to the hostel and we walked by the blue mosque and the aya sopfia at night it was soooooo amazing! We hung out there for a while and tooke some cool pics!
Then after about another hour it was realy time to call it a night!
We went back to the hostel and when we came in the room there was another girl in there that wasn't there before!
This girl turned out to be one of the most intersesting girl I've ever met!
We'll get to that!
The next morning we woke up and I went up for some breakfast! The breakfast is good! It's like the Greek breakfast but called a Turkish breakfast, it's bread rolls, tomato, cucumber, hard boiled egg, butter, jam and coffee or tea!
Its so good if you make it a sandwhich!
that morning I just barely met the girl that came in the night before while we were out. Her name was mitra and she's Iranian!
She seemed very sweet and doest speak great English, but you can tell she's very smart!
Any ways I ended up going out with the Asians to walk around agian! And we went to a place called the bascilica cistern, this place was very interesting! It was an underground palace where the stored water! And in the back were three big blocks of madusa's head and one one side ways and one was upside down! There are different myths on why they were like that but no one really knows?
my camera died in there and the girls wanted to go to the grand bizarre.. The grand bizarre is a place where there are 4,500 shops crammed into a pretty small area and it's just nuts!
So I didn't join them because I wanted to have my camera.
So I went back to the hostel and put my battery on the charge and got to talking to mitra and another Asian kid that had showed up!
So we planned to go walk around and check out the grand bazzar and what ever else we may find! So when my battery was charged we headed off to the grand bazzare!
Wow it was crazy and mentally draining really I got pulled down a street, litterally pull down a small street beacause I said jeans lol!
My freind I have good jeans for you, take a look for me!
ha ha I couldn't stop laughing and I went with it!
Metra and the korian kid fallowed and laughed as well!
It just never ends! Ha ha really!
after a while it becomes a little more annoying than fun so we made our way out and looked for a bite to eat!
We ended up eating at a nice place near the college which was nice! We got tire ld of looking at menus and saying thank you but we'll be back ha ha!
We ate and headed back to the hostel, because Kiam the Asian kid was tired and had a bus to catch later..
Metra and I went up the the top floor and had some tea together and got to know each other a little bit, and it was nice!
Then when I was telling a story about my sixth grade band experiences a girl sitting behind metra and I started laughing! Ha ha so I asked her were she was from, and she was from canada!
We talked and bull shitted but I felt bad for mitra because I know she wasn't understanding our fast paced English...
So I tried to keep her involved, but the the girl invited her self out with us which would normally not be a problem, but I enjoyed hanging out with mitra and I didn't want this canadian girl taking all the attention because she speaks English and leave mitra feeling left out.. So i kinda just said yea we'll figure it out later, but first I'm gonna go finish some things.. And went Down to the room and mitra followed.
later that night we ended up meeting a crazy guy from scottland and he offered to go up for a beer, so we did!
mitra had a beer which is completly new for her being 31 years old, and less the Scottish guy just kept them coming for him and I! Mitra and I had planned to go dancing earlier that day so I didn't want to get to shitty, then he Scottish guy decides to come with.
That would of been ok to if we didn't just have the most off the wall, I mean off the wall conversation with was all about mitra and her life in Iran. And less just doesn't know where to stop.. I won't get in to the conversation we had but it was a conversation I will never ever forget.. Wow!
So after less stopped ordering cause I told him to we decided to grab a cab and go out!
When we got to where we were going he decided that he was gonna let me and mitra go alone, because he thought he was invading on a date or something.. Ha ha this is so hard to explain but I will! Just not in this blog.
So less left and whent who knows where, and mitra and I continued on!
I wanted to go to a place called babylon, which is supposed to be good for dancing and lonley planet reccomends it! So I asked around and we found it, but when we got there it was a local band from michigan. Ha ha they were you and it would be like a show you would see at a local bar down town. Which is ok but we wanted to dance!!
We didn't stay long and when we left we asked around for a good place to go and the locals said chuba! So we found this place and the name was Cuba! Ha ha
Twe had fun here, the Mexican band had us dancing to the salsa very fast and upbeat but what ever we went for it!
It was fun! Mitra can dance, in her own Iranian way! I loved it!
After we bargained for a taksi back to the hostel and called it a night!
The next morning i went up for breakfast to have my Turkish breakfast and coffee on the terrace, and met a guy named Martin from Argentina! Martin was cool! He has high energy after you got to know him and we ended havin some good times together!
But he was solo and joined mentor breakfast then mitra came up and joined in!
After breakfast we made a plan to go out and check out the city more! Martin had just go there so we did things that we havnt done yet!
We ended up taking a fairy over to the Asian side of Istanbul and walking all through out the area! It was an expjerence that I won't forget! The area was very run down and very poor and the locals were sooo friendly and almost confused on why we were in there part of Istanbul, but not in a bad way they were happy to see us!
We were offered tea, and food and all sorts of people were interested in us! We stuck out I guess with what we were wearing, it was like they looked up to us.. Idk how to explain it.
But then we walked past a bunch of kids playing in a trash pit and loving it! Playing in the streets while mom was hanging laundry it was so cool to see!
I couldn't help my self but to make friends with the kids! I tagged one and started running, and at that point I had five kids chasing me! Ha ha it was sooo cool! I took pictures with them and the mom just smiled at me!
It was like the kids had never seen a camera before, you would show them the picture and they loved it!!
I got some cool pics and a short film of tag but it made my day!
After that we had a bite to eat which was very cheap, compared to the other side of istanbul, and the food was good!
After that we decided to catch a farry back to our part of town, ha ha I almost wanted to stay where we were! No husseling, just happy welcoming poor people!
But anyways we went back and didn't really no what to so so we went to the hostel for a little bit and then I decided that we should go grab a beer and sit by the ocean side and just chill!
Ha ha that one chill beer turned into all night partying at a once a year celebration for spring in Istanbul! Lol
We were like why are all these people down here? I thought it was because of the soccer game, but that just seemed crazy!
We fallowed hundreds of people and wanted to check it out and yea like I said we ended up at this festivle untill like one in the morning, there were sooooo many people and we met tons of locals and it was just fun!!!
I took a picture with cops, that were happy and talkin to me and I was feelin good with a beer in my hand ha ha I love that picture cause back home I'd be going to jail! Turkeys great!
We tried to go to the bathroom but all the porta potties had lines that were just rediculous! So Martin and I went on at a time and joined the fifty people on the hill just on the other side of the road just lettin flow! Ha ha all guys of course!
But Martin and I were both done before mitra went ha ha, and she was never left alone! :)
Abiut 1:30 we decided it was time to head back, so we did!
The next morning wasn't to bad actually, I was up around 8:30 and so was mitra! But mitra drank a beer and a half which had her feelin good and is complety new for her like I said. I told her if she doesn't drink she shodnt feel obligated to. They don't drink in Iran, and she's not allowed to drink and bever has drank.
Any ways, i went uo for breakfast and net a guy nammitra started washed up before coming up to breakfast and later met a guy named steve from austraila and started talking with him! He was straveing solo as well, and was in our room!
Then Martin came up to breakfast and reminiced on the night, laughing!
"let's just grab a beer and sit by the sea and chill" ha ha
mitra then joined in and we just kept chatting away!
Steve went to go do some things and we planned to meet him back at the hostel around three!
We didn't do much untill then, Martin and I walked around while mitra got more ready, but it was pretty mellow! Then we met a guy named ugiene who was an interesting cool guy from alaska! Ha ha and it ended up that the five of us all went out around three!
We took a farry ride to the south more touristic part of Asia and just mosied around ate and that was about it, the cought another farry up north to a port and an area I hadn't been to yet so that was cool! From there we walked all the way to taksim passing a nice palace and a couple mosque's and then saw a huge march! I mean hundreds of people protesting something! And folloing them was basically a Turkish swat team ha ha it was interesting!
We walked a lot that day so we came to the conclusion that we'd find a place to have a beer!
And we did in taksim! One beer led to six more and the night got interesting!
Interesting in a wierd way, mitra drank two pints pretty quickly and then went to sit by her self inside... I went to go talk with her and she was pretty much drunk, and emotional..
Lets just say I never ever in my life thought I would be rubbing a thirty one year olds back and wiping her tears.. Really.. But I can understand her emotions and I would never call her out on it..
She was saying that she like me and every one and like beer and kept wanting to drink which I wouldn't let her..
But I comforted her and tried my best, but it was something I've never expierenced!
She must have been sad know she's going home back to her parents, where she's home at ten, and required to were a scarf around her head. She doesn't go out and dance with boys and kiss even on the cheek. I could have been the first boy she kissed on the cheek.. Facebook is forbidden, along with alcohol! And she must have just been trippen...
Any ways we let her sobor up a bit and come together, and I ended up out side arguing with an 11 year old boy about taking two lira from me and not guessing my wieght!
Lol cause I pushed my stomach out and he freaked out and started hitting it and everyone at the bar it watching and laughing ha ha! So the bar tender came over to straiten out the problem, and we did we became friends ha ha and he punched me in the stomach to more times with it puffed out, which I let him do because it called for soon good pics ha ha!
For that story your gonna have to see pictures! It was fun!!
Then mitra starting feeling better so we walked a little bit and got a cab, I didn't like the cab that they chose there were people all around it acting wierd and I was trying to get them to come down the street a little, this guy was offering a ten lira cab ride and seem ligit!
But I was out numbered so I ran up to the cab and right when I tried to fit in the guy acted lime he was shutting the door for me and ripped my camera out of my pocket by the string! I just remember feeling it and then hearing it slide across the side walk.. I was out of that taxi so fast It was crazy, the kids ran and luckily I was able to bmgrab my camera out of the gutter and I held on tight! Believe me! I've never been happier in my life!

So every one got out of the can and I'm yelling f you and flipping the cab driver off and then every one joined in!
The cab driver acted confused... Yea what ever!
So the guy I wanted to go with back up and said come!
so we got in and he asked if we were ok but didn't speak much English...
We were talking about it that whole way back ha ha!
Im sooo lucky he dropped it and I moved quick!
Steve, Martin, and ugeine were like dude I didn't know whatbthe he'll you were doing, ha ha I didn't either it all just happend so fast!
So that was interesting and I have my camera! So it's all good! When we got back to the hostel Martin said he was going to get food, and we said ok we'll join and eat Nd maybe have another beer in celabration to a good ending of a night!
Less was in bed but hopped up to come have a beer with us ha ha! The Scottish drink at all hours!
He was an ok dude but didn't know his limits... The staff didn't like him..
But any ways he's was ok that night we ate and shared a table with two guys from London and it was good!
Martin had to be up early so he headed out early and I joins him!
We walked back and I said I'd be up at breakfast to say hasta la vista!
It wasn't long after I got into bed when everyone came back! Martin was the only one in a different room!
The next day, every one left except for ugiene.
Mitra was sad and wanted everyones info and what not, she had soo much fun and probably has never been as loose as she was in Istanbul!
So mitra and I had breakfasta and just had a mellow mellow day! We went the grand bizzare had some lunch, layed in the park and talked about life and it was interesting!
she sometimes has a hard time telling me things cause of her English but we made it work, I talk slow and help her by asking questions or implanting words!
I don't understand why she would go back to Iran and marry to be treated as some one less...
But any ways I won't go into that, later that night we had dinner up on the sky terrace and it was nice!
I learned alot about Iran and it really made me think..
i don't know how to explain what it was like to hang out with mitra, she's 31 but I feel like inwas flirting and hanging with 17 or 18 year old.. Which isn't bad but it's different.
but she has a batchelors and I know when she's in Iran speaking Persian she is a very very sharp girl!
Shes just so sheltered and innocent.. Idk
That was the last night in Istanbul and in the morning I booked my ticket to cappadocia and had to leave the hostel around six thirty. I was gonna miss mitra but then agian I was ready for new scenery!
The last day was another mellow day just doin a lite bit of this and that!
The goodbye bye wierd especially for her.. But she left and about tem minutes Later I caught the shuttle to the bus that would drive about 13 hours to goreme a cave city in cappadocia! I met some cool people on the bus and we got to chatting! To lady from Seattle who were very sweet and I've even run in to them a couple times in goreme! There was a kid from Canada that was cool but just liked to here him self talk.... I mean he said stuff that was like.. Omg man your a super hero arnt you.. I'm not on for non stop boasting..
Any ways I took two tylonal sleep aid and put mu head phones in but it was not easy to find a comfortable position on the bus... So I slept in the aisle ha ha! It worked ok, better than the seat!
The bus guy didn't even care ha ha he actually said good idea!
We stopped at placed to get food and go to the bathroom, once and 1 am and another at 4:30 am
then you have to pay to use the restroom.... I'm like what?
No wonder they would give you coffee tea water and as much as you wanted ha ha!
But finally we get to nevesir which is a transfer point not to far from goreme and everyone else got on another bus except or Ruth and Stephanie the ladies from seattle! So I'm waiting with them while this guy is hounding us about Gus a ballon ride or day tour or what ever... I told him I've been thru this and I decided to just buy a ticket and do it on my own! He says that's no smart. I said well I'm gonna take my chance at being an idiot!
So we cram on this small shuttle van and made are way thro the middle of no where to goreme!
We got off At the bus station in the middle of cave city!!
This place Is off the hook!

I typing this blog in a cave room at my cave type pension!
The first day I just walked around with my stuff looking for a hostel! and got hassled by a guy at the first and didn't like it so I left!
Then then the next to were full and the fourth one is cool!!
Theres a guy name hallon that checked me in! He's super cool! I was still so tired and out of if from the bus ride so he probably was thinking is this Kid ok, and my allergies got very bad! Sinus, itchy eyes, no energy, and just not comfortable..
I went to the town and walked around and got some dinner, pretty much just checking things out!
when I got back I joined hallon with his two Japanese friends that are friends of his wife, who he met in gorame and is japanese as well!
And the owner he's such good people! He speakes little English but he made me a killer breafast when I showed up! It was an omlet with tomatos on the side and a basket of bread!
I was happy to find this hostel even tho I was the only in checked into it ha ha!
I have a cave to my self with five beds with a bathroom and shower!
The first night I was feeling out of it and run down like I said so I called it an early night around like ten!
And j slept in till about ten, cause it's sooo dark in the cave Ha ha and pretty cold which makes it harder to get up but easier to sleep!
When I did get up I was to late for breakfast but osman the owner made me one any way! Then I got did some emailing!
I got such a cool email from suzzane that made my day! She noticed that my blog hadn't been updated in a while now! This is the longest I've gone With out updating, and it made me feel good that one she cares and two she's reading about my adventures!
My blogs are gonna make a great jornal but I'm doing it for people back home as well!
But anyways that started my day off good!
And of course j heard from my momma who I have been keeping in touch with! And i couldn't forget mothers day!
So my goal was to update my blog yesterday which didn't happen because this one took a while ha ha!
But I hiked around the open air museum which is a little bit out side of the city and you can go in caves and see some cave churches, and just be in awww where ever you go! There's nothing like this anywhere else in the world, that I know of!
Its just something else!
So after a day of exploring my allergies were gettin bad.. So i found the one phamecy in the town and got some what i hope to be allergie medicine ha ha! It was cheap like all medicine over here and im supposed to take it for ten days! I I came back and saw hallon and noticed a lady that was very upset and I thougt I'd stay away from that!
So I hung around with hallon and the owner and then this lady came and sat by the reception to use the Internet and I just started talking to her! Why not?
She had puffy eyes and looked lime she'd been crying because here tour package just wasn't working and idk... That why I do it my self! I don't néed to follow a tour plan that a travel agency will charge me boogo bucks for..
But I ended up talking to this girl for about two hours while hallon was cooking a BBQ for people, and they could just pitch in! But finally I wrapped up the conversarion and we talked about ALOT ha ha but in the end she was happy and she came up for the BBQ which was soooo good! We sat at a table looking out at goreme the beutifle city!
I offered to pay and hallon said no, I offered to do dishes and hallon said wait for the tea! So I cleared the table with out asking, that's the least I could do after a big home cooked Turkish BBQ!
After dinner we had tea and everybody was off to bed, except for me and the owner! I hung out with him untill 1:30 am and went to the super market and got beers for both of us and did our best to comunicate! Sometimes with help of a dictionary, but it was soo cool!
His dad used to own this pension and it was a house! Which is a big house, then he took over the pension because his dad went to Germany. And he showed me where he lives around the corner which is sooo cool is a cave home! It's just something most people won't see! And he lives there! By him self with spare caves! I'm tryin to rent one out ha ha! Really!
He breeds beuatifle pigeons that he showed me! I saw babies, eggs and you can tell he just loves them so much! Oslam is 71 but he looks 45 no joke! I'm so glad I met him, even the language barriar is tuff it's cool to be around him!
So I went to bed around two a.m and woke up this morning and about 8:30! The allergies medicine has cleared me up alot and I'm only on my third dose!! I love it!
I had a good breakfast agian this morning and ended up going with hallon to the air port to drop off the lady that was up set at first! Her name was sisillia, and she was a defense attorney and seemed to be a very kind hearted lady but maybe a litle on edge.. Idk!
But it was cool the ride back was fun! We jammed out to some good music and then we stopped for gas and hallon bought me a beer!
And I got back to the hostel and started typing my blog agian which has taken for ever!!!
But I feel sooo good to be up to date!!

Im glad Susanne sent me an email or I may have become lazy and given up..

So I'm pretty sure I left of at getting to thessoloniki in Greece! Thessoloniki was supposed to be a three hour stop bu turned into about two days because the trains went on stike..
This was not exactly the best place to get stuck.. The "cheap" hotel I was looking for in the lonley planet book had been shu down for three years ha ha so I just walked into a place called atlas hotel and bargained for 25€ a night for my own room with two beds and a bathroom and shower down the hall.. It wasn't anything great, but the cleaning lady was such a sweet heart! She was the only person at this hotel place I met, well besides a 70 year man that had more interest in my itouch than anyone I've met ha ha! We exchaned information right before I left and he really want to by it! Lol that's a whole nother story in it's self!
Any ways the first day in thessoloniki was pretty much trying to get a bus or train ticket. Both failed. The second day I failed agian because it was a holiday for the Greeks! But day went by a little bit faster and I stayed out later that night! I got to talking to two of the black men that sold fake purses and watches, that was interesting but they were cool!
When I was sitting there a little kid was just starring at my Luna sticks so I started spinning the and he went crazy ha ha so I handed them to him and he started running lol!
I took a pic! It was so cute ha ha! the parents were like great now were gonna have to give these back.. It was a challenge I hadrosaur act like I was leaving but the boy was still not happy ha ha!
I played with the sticks for half the day! There wasn't much else to do in thessoloniki.. I tried a frappé witch is very very good coffe with a thick foam that you can scoop out with the chocalate filled cookies they serve you! Mmmmmmm
Any ways I spent most the day on the ocean side just relaxing waiting for the day to go by, and people watching.
The next day was my last day hopefully cause the strike was said to end! I got a ticket to istanbul for 7:30 that night and just wasted another day untill my train!
It felt good to get on the train! The guy I roomed with spoke no English but we made it work! I showed him pics of my trip and my beautiful family! He was impressed! And gave me a beer!
After about an hour they moved me to my own room which was super cumfy!
I just layed in bed and starred out the window!
at about 3:30 a.m I get woken up by two big cops and the train conductor yelling pass port.... Visa..... Passport...... Visa
They opened my door and told me I needed a visa...
I'm thinkin what.. Ha ha where exactly do I do this at, I thought when we got to Istanbul I would get one at some type of customs office?
No! It's at 3:30 in the middle of now where in a small office lol and it was freezing!
This couple from austraila didn't have the money and they were blaming it on eachother so I loned them 20€ which was all they needed and they were soooo happy ha ha!
I wasn't gonna say well shit.... Good luck and get on the train ha ha..
The visa cost 15€ and wasn't to bad to get we were kinda walked/ forced thru it!
So they kept are visa but I could sleep better this time cause I've been on a train were they kept it! And like the last train they came around and woke people up with about twentie minutes untill the istanbul train station around 9 in the morning!
When I got off the train I found the austrailian couple and I they went to an ATM and game me 50 Turkish lira which is a little more than 20€ so it worked out!
Then I was in the giant city of Istanbul thinking oh were oh were could my hostel be?
I hopped in a cab after a big debate of me not paying 15 lira, I showed him seven and said yes or no, he said... Come!
Ha ha sweet!
he found my hostel and turned out to be a cool guy! Matter a fact I saw him two days later and he started honking I was yelling what's up to him!!! The asian girls I was with were like uhh how do you know him ha ha. He was my taxi driver to the hostel!
They laughed!
but the first day in Istanbul was cool I checked in with out paying cause I didn't have enough for three nights in lira..
The people in turkey are soooo friendly, some are trying to sell you something like a carpet or a jacket or invite you into there resraunt! If you go along with them you gaurenteed to be treated like gold but hassled a bit and always with a free cup of turkish tea!
But my first experience is one I will never ever forget! I was genually scared no joke....
I was at the blue mosque and this guy started talking to me and I asked home to take my picture, he was super friendly and offered to show me thru the blue mosque! I walked with him but was trying to get a feel for him, mind you I've been in Istanbul for like an hour and every body is just soooo friendly!
So I take my shoes off and he explains to me the mosque and when we get out he said would you like to see the aya Sophia, I said yes I'm going to head over there for sure! He said well all show you the aya Sophia as well, but first I would like to show you my family buisness! I sell carpets and there so beutifle and after we go to aya Sophia!
Even tho I really didn't want to I said ok but Lets be quick cause I'm meeting someone later.
He said yes yes we go now and take five min!
So I'm fallowing this guy back towards my hostel and he takes me to a carpet store right up the street from my hostel, there's a bunch of carpets on the first floor and there apparently a basement were he right off the bat wanted to take me... He said come down here I show you more carpets, I was like no it's ok walking slowely..
He could tell I was being very hesitant and he said man don't worry your my friend!
I said ok i know were freinds bt were are we going?
Come see my friend is ok..
So I went down the and he sat down on som chairs and said sit down my friend, I said this is nice and my heart started pumping...
Then it was like some movie or something four guys walk in shut the door and turn on bright lights!
How are you my friend?
..... I was thinking ok well what do they want can I pay them or will I just never walk out of this basement...
I said I'm ok how are you? These are nice carpets you have!
I looked at the guy who brought me down and he almost had a smirk on his face.. Like a "got one" type look"...
I talked to one guy about the type of threads for about one min and was like breathing hard Ha ha...
So I just suddenly said you know what I have to meet somebody but thank you.. I paced towards the door and walked quickly up the stairs and pretty much ran to my hostel lol
I ask the receptionist, hey man do you know those guys that sell carpets up there?
Hes like uhh yea why? I told him what happened and he calmey said, yea I think they were trying to sell you a carpet.
Ok...... I was confused really...
five salesman and me in a basment with Bright lights and door shut wouldn't be my method of choice!
I was scarred!
Any ways it turned out to be funny cause durning my whole stay I'd pass the carpet store with people I met and told the story to and the man would be like "how are you my brother?still confused!"
And I was like yea man still confused I'm not gonna lie that was the first time on my trip I was genually scared!
But on the last day in Istanbul I exchanched info with him cause he's comeing to America like he does every year and maybe I will see him agian on the west coast!
Hes really a funny guy!

Any ways when I was at the hostel I met some asian girls! Judith and .... I'm drawing a blank on the other ones name..
But they talked me into going out, which wasn't hard! They were giggaly and just asian ha ha!
We went to look into the Turkish baths and they were way to expensive, 50€!
You can find them for cheaper but I didn't need to do them any way...
So we got in a taksi (taxi) and went to meet one of there Turkish friends they met in there progam from bursa!
The taksi driver was cool ha ha but the girls hated him, they thought he drove in circles but really the were one ways.
Any ways we got to taksim which is an area full of bars and shops and people!
We met timoche there friend and he brought us to a table were two other girls were sitting! They were both so sweet! One was from Istanbul and one was from Italy!
The one from Istanbul tought me how to play baggoman! My first game I one ha ha begginers luck and she showed me a better option to every move I did, but i learned ha ha!
Theres quite a bit of stradegy to the game and the Turks are just impressive to watch! There fast!!!!
After drinking some beers, and watching the Asians smoke nargely (hookah) for there first time we headed out for a bite to eat!
We got some traditional Turkish food that was good!
they let us sample everything before we ordered and I wanted it all!
Then it was time to call it a night! Timoche drove us back to the hostel and we walked by the blue mosque and the aya sopfia at night it was soooooo amazing! We hung out there for a while and tooke some cool pics!
Then after about another hour it was realy time to call it a night!
We went back to the hostel and when we came in the room there was another girl in there that wasn't there before!
This girl turned out to be one of the most intersesting girl I've ever met!
We'll get to that!
The next morning we woke up and I went up for some breakfast! The breakfast is good! It's like the Greek breakfast but called a Turkish breakfast, it's bread rolls, tomato, cucumber, hard boiled egg, butter, jam and coffee or tea!
Its so good if you make it a sandwhich!
that morning I just barely met the girl that came in the night before while we were out. Her name was mitra and she's Iranian!
She seemed very sweet and doest speak great English, but you can tell she's very smart!
Any ways I ended up going out with the Asians to walk around agian! And we went to a place called the bascilica cistern, this place was very interesting! It was an underground palace where the stored water! And in the back were three big blocks of madusa's head and one one side ways and one was upside down! There are different myths on why they were like that but no one really knows?
my camera died in there and the girls wanted to go to the grand bizarre.. The grand bizarre is a place where there are 4,500 shops crammed into a pretty small area and it's just nuts!
So I didn't join them because I wanted to have my camera.
So I went back to the hostel and put my battery on the charge and got to talking to mitra and another Asian kid that had showed up!
So we planned to go walk around and check out the grand bazzar and what ever else we may find! So when my battery was charged we headed off to the grand bazzare!
Wow it was crazy and mentally draining really I got pulled down a street, litterally pull down a small street beacause I said jeans lol!
My freind I have good jeans for you, take a look for me!
ha ha I couldn't stop laughing and I went with it!
Metra and the korian kid fallowed and laughed as well!
It just never ends! Ha ha really!
after a while it becomes a little more annoying than fun so we made our way out and looked for a bite to eat!
We ended up eating at a nice place near the college which was nice! We got tire ld of looking at menus and saying thank you but we'll be back ha ha!
We ate and headed back to the hostel, because Kiam the Asian kid was tired and had a bus to catch later..
Metra and I went up the the top floor and had some tea together and got to know each other a little bit, and it was nice!
Then when I was telling a story about my sixth grade band experiences a girl sitting behind metra and I started laughing! Ha ha so I asked her were she was from, and she was from canada!
We talked and bull shitted but I felt bad for mitra because I know she wasn't understanding our fast paced English...
So I tried to keep her involved, but the the girl invited her self out with us which would normally not be a problem, but I enjoyed hanging out with mitra and I didn't want this canadian girl taking all the attention because she speaks English and leave mitra feeling left out.. So i kinda just said yea we'll figure it out later, but first I'm gonna go finish some things.. And went Down to the room and mitra followed.
later that night we ended up meeting a crazy guy from scottland and he offered to go up for a beer, so we did!
mitra had a beer which is completly new for her being 31 years old, and less the Scottish guy just kept them coming for him and I! Mitra and I had planned to go dancing earlier that day so I didn't want to get to shitty, then he Scottish guy decides to come with.
That would of been ok to if we didn't just have the most off the wall, I mean off the wall conversation with was all about mitra and her life in Iran. And less just doesn't know where to stop.. I won't get in to the conversation we had but it was a conversation I will never ever forget.. Wow!
So after less stopped ordering cause I told him to we decided to grab a cab and go out!
When we got to where we were going he decided that he was gonna let me and mitra go alone, because he thought he was invading on a date or something.. Ha ha this is so hard to explain but I will! Just not in this blog.
So less left and whent who knows where, and mitra and I continued on!
I wanted to go to a place called babylon, which is supposed to be good for dancing and lonley planet reccomends it! So I asked around and we found it, but when we got there it was a local band from michigan. Ha ha they were you and it would be like a show you would see at a local bar down town. Which is ok but we wanted to dance!!
We didn't stay long and when we left we asked around for a good place to go and the locals said chuba! So we found this place and the name was Cuba! Ha ha
Twe had fun here, the Mexican band had us dancing to the salsa very fast and upbeat but what ever we went for it!
It was fun! Mitra can dance, in her own Iranian way! I loved it!
After we bargained for a taksi back to the hostel and called it a night!
The next morning i went up for breakfast to have my Turkish breakfast and coffee on the terrace, and met a guy named Martin from Argentina! Martin was cool! He has high energy after you got to know him and we ended havin some good times together!
But he was solo and joined mentor breakfast then mitra came up and joined in!
After breakfast we made a plan to go out and check out the city more! Martin had just go there so we did things that we havnt done yet!
We ended up taking a fairy over to the Asian side of Istanbul and walking all through out the area! It was an expjerence that I won't forget! The area was very run down and very poor and the locals were sooo friendly and almost confused on why we were in there part of Istanbul, but not in a bad way they were happy to see us!
We were offered tea, and food and all sorts of people were interested in us! We stuck out I guess with what we were wearing, it was like they looked up to us.. Idk how to explain it.
But then we walked past a bunch of kids playing in a trash pit and loving it! Playing in the streets while mom was hanging laundry it was so cool to see!
I couldn't help my self but to make friends with the kids! I tagged one and started running, and at that point I had five kids chasing me! Ha ha it was sooo cool! I took pictures with them and the mom just smiled at me!
It was like the kids had never seen a camera before, you would show them the picture and they loved it!!
I got some cool pics and a short film of tag but it made my day!
After that we had a bite to eat which was very cheap, compared to the other side of istanbul, and the food was good!
After that we decided to catch a farry back to our part of town, ha ha I almost wanted to stay where we were! No husseling, just happy welcoming poor people!
But anyways we went back and didn't really no what to so so we went to the hostel for a little bit and then I decided that we should go grab a beer and sit by the ocean side and just chill!
Ha ha that one chill beer turned into all night partying at a once a year celebration for spring in Istanbul! Lol
We were like why are all these people down here? I thought it was because of the soccer game, but that just seemed crazy!
We fallowed hundreds of people and wanted to check it out and yea like I said we ended up at this festivle untill like one in the morning, there were sooooo many people and we met tons of locals and it was just fun!!!
I took a picture with cops, that were happy and talkin to me and I was feelin good with a beer in my hand ha ha I love that picture cause back home I'd be going to jail! Turkeys great!
We tried to go to the bathroom but all the porta potties had lines that were just rediculous! So Martin and I went on at a time and joined the fifty people on the hill just on the other side of the road just lettin flow! Ha ha all guys of course!
But Martin and I were both done before mitra went ha ha, and she was never left alone! :)
Abiut 1:30 we decided it was time to head back, so we did!
The next morning wasn't to bad actually, I was up around 8:30 and so was mitra! But mitra drank a beer and a half which had her feelin good and is complety new for her like I said. I told her if she doesn't drink she shodnt feel obligated to. They don't drink in Iran, and she's not allowed to drink and bever has drank.
Any ways, i went uo for breakfast and net a guy nammitra started washed up before coming up to breakfast and later met a guy named steve from austraila and started talking with him! He was straveing solo as well, and was in our room!
Then Martin came up to breakfast and reminiced on the night, laughing!
"let's just grab a beer and sit by the sea and chill" ha ha
mitra then joined in and we just kept chatting away!
Steve went to go do some things and we planned to meet him back at the hostel around three!
We didn't do much untill then, Martin and I walked around while mitra got more ready, but it was pretty mellow! Then we met a guy named ugiene who was an interesting cool guy from alaska! Ha ha and it ended up that the five of us all went out around three!
We took a farry ride to the south more touristic part of Asia and just mosied around ate and that was about it, the cought another farry up north to a port and an area I hadn't been to yet so that was cool! From there we walked all the way to taksim passing a nice palace and a couple mosque's and then saw a huge march! I mean hundreds of people protesting something! And folloing them was basically a Turkish swat team ha ha it was interesting!
We walked a lot that day so we came to the conclusion that we'd find a place to have a beer!
And we did in taksim! One beer led to six more and the night got interesting!
Interesting in a wierd way, mitra drank two pints pretty quickly and then went to sit by her self inside... I went to go talk with her and she was pretty much drunk, and emotional..
Lets just say I never ever in my life thought I would be rubbing a thirty one year olds back and wiping her tears.. Really.. But I can understand her emotions and I would never call her out on it..
She was saying that she like me and every one and like beer and kept wanting to drink which I wouldn't let her..
But I comforted her and tried my best, but it was something I've never expierenced!
She must have been sad know she's going home back to her parents, where she's home at ten, and required to were a scarf around her head. She doesn't go out and dance with boys and kiss even on the cheek. I could have been the first boy she kissed on the cheek.. Facebook is forbidden, along with alcohol! And she must have just been trippen...
Any ways we let her sobor up a bit and come together, and I ended up out side arguing with an 11 year old boy about taking two lira from me and not guessing my wieght!
Lol cause I pushed my stomach out and he freaked out and started hitting it and everyone at the bar it watching and laughing ha ha! So the bar tender came over to straiten out the problem, and we did we became friends ha ha and he punched me in the stomach to more times with it puffed out, which I let him do because it called for soon good pics ha ha!
For that story your gonna have to see pictures! It was fun!!
Then mitra starting feeling better so we walked a little bit and got a cab, I didn't like the cab that they chose there were people all around it acting wierd and I was trying to get them to come down the street a little, this guy was offering a ten lira cab ride and seem ligit!
But I was out numbered so I ran up to the cab and right when I tried to fit in the guy acted lime he was shutting the door for me and ripped my camera out of my pocket by the string! I just remember feeling it and then hearing it slide across the side walk.. I was out of that taxi so fast It was crazy, the kids ran and luckily I was able to bmgrab my camera out of the gutter and I held on tight! Believe me! I've never been happier in my life!

So every one got out of the can and I'm yelling f you and flipping the cab driver off and then every one joined in!
The cab driver acted confused... Yea what ever!
So the guy I wanted to go with back up and said come!
so we got in and he asked if we were ok but didn't speak much English...
We were talking about it that whole way back ha ha!
Im sooo lucky he dropped it and I moved quick!
Steve, Martin, and ugeine were like dude I didn't know whatbthe he'll you were doing, ha ha I didn't either it all just happend so fast!
So that was interesting and I have my camera! So it's all good! When we got back to the hostel Martin said he was going to get food, and we said ok we'll join and eat Nd maybe have another beer in celabration to a good ending of a night!
Less was in bed but hopped up to come have a beer with us ha ha! The Scottish drink at all hours!
He was an ok dude but didn't know his limits... The staff didn't like him..
But any ways he's was ok that night we ate and shared a table with two guys from London and it was good!
Martin had to be up early so he headed out early and I joins him!
We walked back and I said I'd be up at breakfast to say hasta la vista!
It wasn't long after I got into bed when everyone came back! Martin was the only one in a different room!
The next day, every one left except for ugiene.
Mitra was sad and wanted everyones info and what not, she had soo much fun and probably has never been as loose as she was in Istanbul!
So mitra and I had breakfasta and just had a mellow mellow day! We went the grand bizzare had some lunch, layed in the park and talked about life and it was interesting!
she sometimes has a hard time telling me things cause of her English but we made it work, I talk slow and help her by asking questions or implanting words!
I don't understand why she would go back to Iran and marry to be treated as some one less...
But any ways I won't go into that, later that night we had dinner up on the sky terrace and it was nice!
I learned alot about Iran and it really made me think..
i don't know how to explain what it was like to hang out with mitra, she's 31 but I feel like inwas flirting and hanging with 17 or 18 year old.. Which isn't bad but it's different.
but she has a batchelors and I know when she's in Iran speaking Persian she is a very very sharp girl!
Shes just so sheltered and innocent.. Idk
That was the last night in Istanbul and in the morning I booked my ticket to cappadocia and had to leave the hostel around six thirty. I was gonna miss mitra but then agian I was ready for new scenery!
The last day was another mellow day just doin a lite bit of this and that!
The goodbye bye wierd especially for her.. But she left and about tem minutes Later I caught the shuttle to the bus that would drive about 13 hours to goreme a cave city in cappadocia! I met some cool people on the bus and we got to chatting! To lady from Seattle who were very sweet and I've even run in to them a couple times in goreme! There was a kid from Canada that was cool but just liked to here him self talk.... I mean he said stuff that was like.. Omg man your a super hero arnt you.. I'm not on for non stop boasting..
Any ways I took two tylonal sleep aid and put mu head phones in but it was not easy to find a comfortable position on the bus... So I slept in the aisle ha ha! It worked ok, better than the seat!
The bus guy didn't even care ha ha he actually said good idea!
We stopped at placed to get food and go to the bathroom, once and 1 am and another at 4:30 am
then you have to pay to use the restroom.... I'm like what?
No wonder they would give you coffee tea water and as much as you wanted ha ha!
But finally we get to nevesir which is a transfer point not to far from goreme and everyone else got on another bus except or Ruth and Stephanie the ladies from seattle! So I'm waiting with them while this guy is hounding us about Gus a ballon ride or day tour or what ever... I told him I've been thru this and I decided to just buy a ticket and do it on my own! He says that's no smart. I said well I'm gonna take my chance at being an idiot!
So we cram on this small shuttle van and made are way thro the middle of no where to goreme!
We got off At the bus station in the middle of cave city!!

The first day I just walked around with my stuff looking for a hostel! and got hassled by a guy at the first and didn't like it so I left!
Then then the next to were full and the fourth one is cool!!
Theres a guy name hallon that checked me in! He's super cool! I was still so tired and out of if from the bus ride so he probably was thinking is this Kid ok, and my allergies got very bad! Sinus, itchy eyes, no energy, and just not comfortable..
I went to the town and walked around and got some dinner, pretty much just checking things out!
when I got back I joined hallon with his two Japanese friends that are friends of his wife, who he met in gorame and is japanese as well!
And the owner he's such good people! He speakes little English but he made me a killer breafast when I showed up! It was an omlet with tomatos on the side and a basket of bread!
I was happy to find this hostel even tho I was the only in checked into it ha ha!
I have a cave to my self with five beds with a bathroom and shower!
The first night I was feeling out of it and run down like I said so I called it an early night around like ten!
And j slept in till about ten, cause it's sooo dark in the cave Ha ha and pretty cold which makes it harder to get up but easier to sleep!
When I did get up I was to late for breakfast but osman the owner made me one any way! Then I got did some emailing!
I got such a cool email from suzzane that made my day! She noticed that my blog hadn't been updated in a while now! This is the longest I've gone With out updating, and it made me feel good that one she cares and two she's reading about my adventures!
My blogs are gonna make a great jornal but I'm doing it for people back home as well!
But anyways that started my day off good!

But I hiked around the open air museum which is a little bit out side of the city and you can go in caves and see some cave churches, and just be in awww where ever you go! There's nothing like this anywhere else in the world, that I know of!

So after a day of exploring my allergies were gettin bad.. So i found the one phamecy in the town and got some what i hope to be allergie medicine ha ha! It was cheap like all medicine over here and im supposed to take it for ten days! I I came back and saw hallon and noticed a lady that was very upset and I thougt I'd stay away from that!
So I hung around with hallon and the owner and then this lady came and sat by the reception to use the Internet and I just started talking to her! Why not?
She had puffy eyes and looked lime she'd been crying because here tour package just wasn't working and idk... That why I do it my self! I don't néed to follow a tour plan that a travel agency will charge me boogo bucks for..
But I ended up talking to this girl for about two hours while hallon was cooking a BBQ for people, and they could just pitch in! But finally I wrapped up the conversarion and we talked about ALOT ha ha but in the end she was happy and she came up for the BBQ which was soooo good! We sat at a table looking out at goreme the beutifle city!
I offered to pay and hallon said no, I offered to do dishes and hallon said wait for the tea! So I cleared the table with out asking, that's the least I could do after a big home cooked Turkish BBQ!
After dinner we had tea and everybody was off to bed, except for me and the owner! I hung out with him untill 1:30 am and went to the super market and got beers for both of us and did our best to comunicate! Sometimes with help of a dictionary, but it was soo cool!
His dad used to own this pension and it was a house! Which is a big house, then he took over the pension because his dad went to Germany. And he showed me where he lives around the corner which is sooo cool is a cave home! It's just something most people won't see! And he lives there! By him self with spare caves! I'm tryin to rent one out ha ha! Really!
He breeds beuatifle pigeons that he showed me! I saw babies, eggs and you can tell he just loves them so much! Oslam is 71 but he looks 45 no joke! I'm so glad I met him, even the language barriar is tuff it's cool to be around him!
So I went to bed around two a.m and woke up this morning and about 8:30! The allergies medicine has cleared me up alot and I'm only on my third dose!! I love it!
I had a good breakfast agian this morning and ended up going with hallon to the air port to drop off the lady that was up set at first! Her name was sisillia, and she was a defense attorney and seemed to be a very kind hearted lady but maybe a litle on edge.. Idk!
But it was cool the ride back was fun! We jammed out to some good music and then we stopped for gas and hallon bought me a beer!
And I got back to the hostel and started typing my blog agian which has taken for ever!!!
But I feel sooo good to be up to date!!

Arthens was fun! Meteora is just amazing, and I had the worst and best expiernce in a 24 hour period!
ok after i finished typing my last blog i walked back up stairs to the lobby area and saw matt sitting there! he was just hanging out by him self self so i sat down to see what he was up to! he said he was heading up the the giant hill with emily, her friend, anna, and tom! i had already hiked up that giant hill that day and around most of athens, but they talked me into going agian so i did! what ever its good excersize! so i waited with matt till the others were ready, and it wasnt long before they all came down! we headed off and planned to stop by a supermarket before going up the hill because they wanted to have like a picnic type deal and watch the sun set! but that didnt happen because we just kept walking and we got caught up in talking, crazy illigal sales men, and busy streets of athens! but what ever i said lets just eat when we get back down, and everyone thought that would be ok!
so i showed them the way to the top and its a little bit of a trek from the hostel and pretty much all up hill! when we got to the hill it was fun going up with a big group! we saw more turtles in the middle of a giant mountian ha ha! and when we got to the top it was beuatifle, even the second time for me! athens is such a dense city with soooo much to see!
we were at the top of the hill for about an hour just having a good time eating some strawberries anna had and chatting away! emily and here friend wanted to stay till sun set, which was fine but it was like an hour and a half away.. so i kinda made it clear that i wasnt gonna stay and ended up walking back with anna, tom and matt!
whenwe winded our way back thru the streets to our hostel we ended up going to get a greek salad! we all had to try a greek saled in greece, makes since to me! i asked for chicken in my greek salad and he looked at me wierd so i took it just the way the make it! ha ha which is very good, i was basically chunks of fresh tomato, cumcuber, some strange olives, feta cheese, some oil and idk... but it was very good!
we sat out side and seriously about every three minutes a new person would come by and try and sell you something! lol its halarious, all of a sudden you table will light up with green laser lights every where and you up to a guy holding 30 laser lights and a mega phone! its soo funny the he talked into the megaphone, " 5 euro nice lights, i give you for three, try try.. ha ha"
i have fun with it! but in greece its not as fun cause if you lead them on they will not let it be... i tried on some glasses and that was the biggest mistake of my life ha ha i had to eventually grab a waiter to get this guy away from the table..
you get little kids selling tissues, its just unreal, and kinda sad at the same time... these kids are like eight! but eventually we just continued a conversation and just flat out ignored them, but i could i was laughing so hard ha ha!
you'll walk by some one and there just step in front of you and open a bag, DVD? ha ha no thanks man!
any ways it was something ive bever expierenced while eating dinner at a restraunt, so it was cool, i thought! im sure the locals hate it!
we left dinner at about 8:30 which is about a half an hour into happy hour.. happy hour only goes for an hour and our hostel had the cheapest beer in athens! 3 euros a pint, and by one get one free during happy hour!!
so we had our fair share of beers because i had one more night but left early in the morning so i wanted to have a good last night drinking! and i did! the sky bar is so coool! everybody talks with every one, keili the bar tender is super cool, and its just a good time, every one clicks! when the bar closed at mid night, anna, matt, russ, and i went out to get a euros which is like a greek version of the kebab! its good but a bit salty.. after that i saw a stray dog in the squar and sat next to it, and started petting it! with a good buzz i didnt think about it having rabies or randomly deciding to attack me! ha ha but it was nice and im pretty sure he probably doesnt get the attention i gave him hardley ever! he did snap at me but that was because a guy cam up with his crazy green light disco laser and i yelled at him, cause he kept doing it and he was freaking me and especially the dog out! matt asked for my camera when i started petting the dog and i didnt realize how many pictures he took till the morning! lol i woke and looked at my pics which is always fun! and i just started laughing! i had like thirty pictures of me and this dog! but there are some cool pics! :)
after my hands where black and i probably had fleesi decided id had enough of the dog, so we headed back! but it was a fun night!
in the morning i took a nice long shower and when down for some breakfast! i had breakfast and talked to every one that was down there! matt, anna, and i ended up going to the beach!we thought it would be a lot easier than it was but, things slightly changed... ha ha we hopped on the the green metro line that takes you all the way to the ocean side to the ports and we were hoping to find a nice beach around there, but we didnt even make it to the ports, because the metro line was under construction and we had to get off about three stops early..
we asked the lady at the station and she said it wouldnt be bad to walk at all! which i thought was shurly the case because tiffany walked to the ports from the hostel in an hour and a half. but after about ten minutes of walking we asked a couple and they made it sound like your wasting you time to walk....
anna had to meet a friend at the airport soon any way so we ended up hopping in a taxi and aggreeing on the price of eight euros, after a little bit of numbers going up and down ha ha! but the driver was cool he spoke no english just numbers, we were in the taxi for all of ten minutes and then got on the highway... im going uhhh? what beach are we going to? we all started joking about where we were going and he gave us the hand signal like dont worry! ha ha
he did end up taking us to a nice beach! and it was fun! nobody was gonna swim cause it was a little windy, but there were a few people in, and i knew i might ni be back to the beach! so with no warning i got a running start and made my way into the beautifle ocean! its been awhile since ive been in an ocean it was nice! i talked matt and anna into getting in! and we swam for about twentie minutes hung out for a bit and then had to get back.
getting back was easy and should have been the way we got there! ha ha it was a tram that took us all they way back! people were looking at me strange cause i was bare foot with sandy feet and still pretty wet! but what do ya do.. oh yea bring a towl and a change of clothes ha ha?
when we got back i went and hung out with the pigeons! ha ha and idea i got from some guy that put bird seed in my hand and tried to charge me five euro to take a picture when bird landed on me.. so i decided to do it my self! you guys are probably like wow... really.. so were the people watching in the sqaure! lol but it called for some cool pics! :)
then i headed back, showered and met kate in the lobby cause she talked about making matt and i some pasta because we cooked her a home made pizza! matt was talking a nap so i went to the store with kate and got some vegies and a few things we needed!
i helped her a little bit but she pretty much had it under control! when dinner was ready, i went up to matts room and pounded on the door! we headed back down and enjoyed a very nice pasta with garlic bread! it ended up being about five us us eating! it was cool!
after dinner the boys did the dishes, cause we pretty much did nothing else! ha ha people were taking pictures of us as if guys never wash a dish.. and by the time we got things cleaned up it was about to see what was going on in the sky bar! i didnt want to drink a lot because we had a plan to meet in the lobby at 7 am to catch a train to meteora! it turned into a group of five that were headed up there so i was looking forward to it!
any way just like everyother night you say your not drinking... you drink! so i had two happy hour beer which equals four beers! and got to talking to this lady that i met in the lobby from hamburg cause i let her use my cheap charger! we talked for a while about a bunch of random stuff, her name was kristen and shes thirty! a very nice lady! i ended giving her my charger because.. well i dont know why.. she was headed to the islands and i figured i could grab another one easily, she was so excited and what ever, but if i ever make it back to hamburg i for sure have a place to stay!
any ways i had my eye on this latino girl from mexico since the morning at breakfast ha ha! we were kinda being flirty flirty, and i was givin her a bit of a hard time! it was fun! out of the middle of know where matt calls me over cause she was talking to matt about me, and we got to talking!
long story short this girl was super cool! cool enough for me to stay out till 3 am whatching the changing of the guards which happens every hour and isnt like the most exciting thing in the world ha ha..
but somethin about her idk! it was exited about leaving in the morning untill this point ha ha! but it was fun, and i hope to see her agian one day, who knows!
the next morning i was up early and heading down to the lobby for a coffee! matt, and the other three kids that were headed to meteora were in the lobby already! the other three were worried about catching the train so they left, but i had my coffee and matt and i made our way to the train station! matts funny, hes still a little confused just like i was on day 17, i tought hime the metro and how to make your way to a place! he'll get it just like i did! but any ways we got there with plenty of time left, and i had one more coffee when we met up as a group!
the train ride was about five hours and wasnt to bad, considering i was a little ehhhh... but i slept for about an hour and we got there around one!
leonared, micheal, and allen were staying in a different hostel, cause matt and i booked ours before. we stayed in a two twin bed privat room which is you only option in a small town like this... but its a nice place and wasnt to expensive! breakfast was good in the mornings and i cant complain!
the first day was pretty mellow we wall to one little monestary, and got some food from the store and called it an early night for the big day ahead of us!
in the morning we got up aroun nine! i felt like a new person!!
i emptied my back pack and we packed sandwhiches, fruit and water!! we hiked almost all day around these cliffs! there flast out amazing! there mind blowing! theses monestarys are built on top of giant giant giant rocks! it un real!
about this time i was wondering why the hell i gave my charger away.... matt was cool and let me snap some shots with his camera using my sim, but still it was a bit of a hassle and not the same as having a fully chargesd camera in your pocket..
the only charger i could find was 30 euros... i got the last one for five.. i almoste broke down and got it but i have to crack down now.. the funds are gettin tight!
we ended up seeing leonard and his friends at the grand monestary, and they were headed back the direction we came, after we chatted for a bit mat and i headed in to the monestary with there tickets ha ha it worked!
we were wearing shorts and some people didnt like that.. we almost didnt get in to them.. which i dont understand at all but what ever!
i even stayed out side of one cause i dont need to see the inside of all of these for two euros a pop.. ive seen many churses and was enjoying the oustide veiw!! its just crazy!
after we saw the grand monstary we ended up heading back the direction we came and ran back into leonard and his friends ha ha! so we walked down with themto the small town they stayed in next to ours called kasatraki! we had some dinner with them but only got bread and dip because we had more food left!
matt and i walked back to our hostel and just sat on our patio and relaxed for a little bit! we walked alot!!!
when it got later we walked down to the train station then up to the super market and hit a souvener shop on the way back! we got to chatting to the hotel host and another ladie that works here and there very nice people! then it was bout eleven so it was time to get organized and get some sleep for the next day, cause we both had early trains to catch!
matt was going back to athens to head to the iasland with leonard and them, and im headed to thessolonki in north eastern greece so i can eventually get to istanbul!!
when i was packing and organizing i realized the worst thing possible had happend.... my camera....
yep i didnt have it... i was freaking out.. i went thru everything and it wasnt there... matts like weel it will come up in the morning..
NO, HELL NO!! im not gonna sleep untill i find that camera, but i didnt.. i really didnt sleep good at all, and when i woke up matt was gone, and i really didnt care about catching my train.. i cared about finding my camera!
in the morning i walked down to the super market hoping it was there, but it was closed.. so i walked to the train station where the people are very un friendly.. and it wasnt there.. but i some how talked them into canging my ticket to tomorrw with out paying for a new one! that wasnt easy...

at this point i walked slowley and aimlessly back to the hostel and got on face book messaging everbody i had hung out with to send me somepics for my dvd... it wouldnt be the same, but better thaen nothing of vienna, munich, zurich, and all of GREECE...
i wrote some postcards and headed back to town to send them and see if the souvenier shop was open, and it wasnt.. but right when i turned around a guy pulled up in a truck and parked, it was the guy working the shop! this was my last shot at getting my camera..
i asked him about it and he new nothing... my stomach dropped and i just had the worst feeling ever....
then i turned aound, and out the other the corner of my eye i saw my camera sitting up on these costers by all the post cards, i freaked out! like seriously after being miserable and trippin since the night before i was going crazy! the guy was like oh bravo, bravo!!! i was just estatic, i cant explain the feeling!
i even wrothe on a postcard to my family about loosing my camera, ha ha but thats a false alarm!!!
i walked back to the hostel just yelling out like is good!!! and its because i gave that lady my charger! :) i love carma!
so i came back booked another night here in this nice little town and, and will be out of here tomorrow! im gonna wait till i get to thessolonki to find a charger, because i know i can do better than 30 euros.. but i wish i could take more pics today.. but i dont care im just happy to have my camera!!

in the morning i walked down to the super market hoping it was there, but it was closed.. so i walked to the train station where the people are very un friendly.. and it wasnt there.. but i some how talked them into canging my ticket to tomorrw with out paying for a new one! that wasnt easy...
i went back to the super market but it didnt open for ten more minutes.. so i waited, they didnt have anything and were not very pleasent or helpfull at all..
then.. i walked all the way back to kasastraki which is the next small town over and went to the place i had dinner with every one.. not there... that was the last place i know for sure i had it.
i was walking back and didnt feel like walking so i put my thumb out and got picked up by the secong car that past! it was and old man, and spoke a little english, he talked about his time he spent in america! it was a quick ride to the souvenier shop which is a little bit past my hostel, and that was still closed, so i was just feeling like shit! so many cool pics a digital camera... and it just was the worst day and this was the last thing i ever wanted to happen....
at this point i walked slowley and aimlessly back to the hostel and got on face book messaging everbody i had hung out with to send me somepics for my dvd... it wouldnt be the same, but better thaen nothing of vienna, munich, zurich, and all of GREECE...
i wrote some postcards and headed back to town to send them and see if the souvenier shop was open, and it wasnt.. but right when i turned around a guy pulled up in a truck and parked, it was the guy working the shop! this was my last shot at getting my camera..
i asked him about it and he new nothing... my stomach dropped and i just had the worst feeling ever....
then i turned aound, and out the other the corner of my eye i saw my camera sitting up on these costers by all the post cards, i freaked out! like seriously after being miserable and trippin since the night before i was going crazy! the guy was like oh bravo, bravo!!! i was just estatic, i cant explain the feeling!
i even wrothe on a postcard to my family about loosing my camera, ha ha but thats a false alarm!!!
i walked back to the hostel just yelling out like is good!!! and its because i gave that lady my charger! :) i love carma!
so i came back booked another night here in this nice little town and, and will be out of here tomorrow! im gonna wait till i get to thessolonki to find a charger, because i know i can do better than 30 euros.. but i wish i could take more pics today.. but i dont care im just happy to have my camera!!
so that was today! the worst day, turned into the best day!!!!!
that brings me to now! im just gonna chill untill my train tomorrow and hopefully be to istanbul in a day or so!
im thinkin about spending about a month in turkey and flying out of istanbul!
i gotta get back to see every one!! and save for burning man! ha ha

Munich was fun! Zurich is far to expensive.. and Athens is Amazing!!
I left off at walking around with the Canadian girl..
That girls bothered me a little bit, or maybe a lot..
Ha ha we walked amto the town hall which is beautifle!! And met her friend, who was studying in Munich, I was super hungry so I had to get some food then we went to a beer harden And I had a water and they got a beer! I know doesn't sound right but I didn't feel like drinking an spending the money so what ever..
I basically listened to them talk girl talk and drama drama drama!!!
I couldn't relate with them and just wasn't having a great time, so I told them I was going to meet somebody, which I was but not till later!
and I was looking forward to it! It was the girl i hung out with from couch surfers! Her name is Stephanie and she's a cool girl!
Any ways when I left the Canadian girl and her friend I went to the dm which is a store hygenics and what not, and I got my self some shower gel and tooth paste! Then I went down the street to my hostel!
I got my stuf out of luggage and had about an hour to kill! So I relaxed a little bit Hung out in the Lounge area and sent a couple messages!
I had to meet Stephanie at her house at seven so
I cought the tram at about 6:40 which got me to her house around perfect timing!
Her house was pretty easyto find but you have to really look ha ha it's not like in America driving with your lights on high beam asking the passenger if theh can see the numbers on the house! :)
But I found the complex pushed the button with her name on it and I was good to go!
Stephanie is so friendly, I enjoyed my stay with her! She let me take a shower, and just made menfeel right at home!
Anyways as soon as she was ready we headed out to her friends house for some wine and pizza!!! Mmmmmmm it was good!
Once agian I offered to pay but they said no please just be our guest! We chatted it up and had a good time with friends and room mate! Then we headed out to a work party for stephanies work party! It was really nice of her or her friend to add me as there plus one! There was a big guestlist!
When I think of work party it's not exactly how this on was! I had si muh fun ha ha we danced all night after our free welcome drink! And it was just good times! It was like clubbing pretty much!
I payed 10.50 for a jack and coke and almost had a heart attack.... But what do you do..
We left the work party at around one-ish and headed back to stephanies flat, and had a nice conversation about random things, like family and life which was interesting!
We ended up getting to bed around 2 a.m which was kind of late considering what time Stephanie had to get up.. And I woke up a litle after she did around 7:30 I think..
But I was good to go we had coffee and she made an amazing pretzel with ham and cheese! Mmmmmmm
And plus I go a good night sleep her couch nicely fold out and is super Cumfy!
Stephanie had to head out to work but insisted that Id like to stay or need a shower just to do so! So I thanked her and gave her a hug, and she was on her way.
I finished my pretzel and packed up my stuff, and tried to tidy things up a bit, which was practically nothing because she keeps things very neet and clean!
I left About 45 min after she did and went walking with my pack!
I had a bout three hours before I caught catch a train!
I walked down a very nice street in Munich past the univerty and just enjoyed the 45 min walk I took! I went to the post to send off some random things, then went next door and had sone burger king which I quickly regretted after..
Its expensive and no good..
I feel lime junk food is your only option 80% of the time...
I'm gonna gt better at making snacks or carry fruit and healthier things to snack on to keep me going!
But any ways I sti had about fifty minutes to kill so I put in some head phone and went out front with my Luna sticks! It made time go much faster and I was on a train to Zurich before I knew it!
The train was very very crowed due to all the flight cancelations, but no big deal the two ladies I was faceing seemed to be very nice and the girl next to me slept untill the last hour..
but the last hour was soo cool we all go to talking about my trip and what they have done and wher there féin and what not! And this one lady older lady was soooo sweet, but spoke very little English..
And about 20 minutes before Zurich the other two ladies got o the train leaving me and the sweet ladie speaking little English ha ha!
But she shared a little sandwich with me and we talked the best we could! I have her laughing, and she pulled out her dictionary and we made I work!
Ha ha we got a picture together and my camera was dead... Sad but she gonna send me the pictures because we exchanged information, I gave her a postcard of Nevada and were gonna keep in touch Here and there! She's a sweet older woman!
When she got off the train she was taking pics of me inside the train lol and I did the heart symbol and I think the peace sign but i cant wait to see the pics!
So that was fun!
when I got to zurich I went pretty much new how to get to the hostel! I made my way there and tried to find a store so I could cook and save money! Yea right!!
I found a store and bought a very small loaf of bread, a little ham, turkey, rice, and 4 eggs for 22 swiss franks!
I was sad... I pulled out fifty Swiss franks from the ATM outside the store and already almost half was gone....
So I mosied to my hostel which was tucked in a little Allie way, and spent the rest of my Swiss franks plus ten euros...
Zurich sucks, like really bad! Unless your a bazillionare...
And even then I'm not stoaked on it...
I didn't even go out! I talked to quite a few random people, tried to use the Internet that wouldn't work and ended up going to bed around ten thirty..
I made a about five sandwiches that are as basic as they get to make it all the way to Athens and maybe till tomorrow!
Im not one to complain but come on.... How is that enjoyable... The hostel was shit for 35 Swiss franks.. Wichita is outragous..
A meal at mc donalds would cost you right around 16 American dollors, and you couldn't find a 12 oz soda for under 4 Swiss frank it's just shit....
So long story short I basically hid in my hostel and woke up and was gonna walk around but I pretty much said f it, I Tom three pics and went to the train station to get a ticket to the airport which takes 8 min and cost me 6.50 Swiss franks.... Ughhhh
I wen from bratislava to Vienna for 11 euros! I'm confused..
But any ways I got thru the crazyness of the giant air port, but it wasn't to bad actually and now I sitting here waiting for my flight which is in 45 min!
I can't wait to Leave zurich!!!
I would never come back! Ever!
All they care about here is money!!! Really...
So all be In Bulgaria by 3 pm an Athens by ten I hope!
But i know for sure I'm leaving here which makes me happy! I talked to people stuck here cause there flights.... I couldn't do it.... I'd walk to another country before I stayed in Zurich...

so the airport in sofia, Bulgaria is very small... And they don't take euros and I've been begged by four taxi driver s to let them give me a quick and very cheap tour of Bulgaria.. Ha ha it's funny!
But you can motor a HUGE difference from flying out of Zurich and into sofia!
The ones rich and ones poor.. Ha ha
Flying out a nice bus brought us to the plane landing well a piece of sh** but picked us up!
The diversity on this small cotinent is un real!
The flight was nice tho everything was in Bulgarian, and partly and quickly translate to English! And we got a sandwhich, candy bar, and a glass of wine!
And has a perfect landing, matter a fact every one started clapping :)
Going thru customs was easy and now I'm waiting to check in!
I kinda wish I could at Least go to the city, but it looked pretty rough flying in ha ha!
The flight to Greece was nice!! Got another meal ha ha, but we flew thru the clouds which is always awsome I think!
and the about ten minutes before landing you would just see little, and big islands all over! It was cool!!
We landed on the big island, an I had to take a metro that to the city which took about an hour and when I finally got of at the stop I was like WOW! And then I was like WOW! And might had said it one more time! Ha ha I looked up at the giant hill where the Parthenon and acropolis!
I tryed to take some pics but they wernt to great at night..
But I found my hostel down a littles street not to far from the mertro stop!
I checked in and the girl that checked me in was from orgeon she's really cool!
But getting to my room was easy, but getting in it wasn't..
Ha ha she gave me the wrong key to the gated door I shut beging me for some reason, and when i got to my room the key didn't work.. So I went to back to reception which is next door and I couldn't open the gate to Leave the building because she have menthe wrong key.. Ha ha it was rediculous!
I was stuck in between my room and the street..
I literally waited twentie minutes unit some body came in and asked me what I'm doing.. Oh you know just hanging out in this tagged up hall way cause I can't get in my room or back to the reception to get it fixed... They laughed and I felt good to get on the other side of that stupid gate!
The girl was like oh I'm soo sorry... He he oops..
what ever I want a free hour of Internet ha ha!
But anyways that was just kinda funny just getting to the hostel after 7 hours of travel..
The first night in Athens was pretty fun!
I had a beer at the roof top bar where we have an amazing view of the parthenon and acropolies! It's cool!!! All lit up and every one just hangs out and chats! I've met a bunch of cool peeps!
The roof bar closes at mid night so we went out to another club type bar, which was but he drinks are pricey and the people tend to do more talking than dancing... We danced! But it was just our group of 7 or so..
So I eventually decided I was gonna head back and it turned into a group of us goingto get chocolate crapes which I didn't Have, but I did my self a very nice and cheap panini!
Then headed back for bed!
I woke up around nine and made t down for breakfast! Mmm it was pretty good for being free! You get capaciunos, cereal, and bread! It works and fills me until lunch!
I stared my day by doing some laundy, and it was five euros! Just to wash, he'll no was I using there dryer fo another five euros.. So I hung all my clothes on the balconly and called it good!
The rest of the day i ended up walking around for a while with a kid named mat from austraila! He's a cool kid, we walked up to the Parthenon, and acropolies! Ha ha i tripped over a turtle on the way up! Seriously! I took a picture with my little buddy and sent him back on his way! I don't understand how the turtles live on a mountian? Where's there water? Idk, but there cool and you see them quite a bit!
went to another temple, and ended up back on the city streets! We walked thru heaps of people selling stuff,And I actually ended up buying some old Arabic bill, idk it was cheap and looked cool!
We thought we were headed to the hostel but ended up getting lost in the never ending streets and people of Athens! This is the most dense city I have ever been in! Really it's crazy!!!
Getto on one street busy on the next! Meat, and frui markets, illigals selling stuff every where! It's something else!
We finay just found a metro station and got back on track by taking the metro right to the stop our hostel is by!
and we went to the store to grab some cheap Dinner that Matt and I could split!
Ha ha finding a normal store is impossible, some "markets" are better than others but you just don't find a regular supermarket.. No way!
We walked down a pretty shady street, and got hassled to by some hash I tucked my camera string deep in my pocket and said I'm ok thanks! Ha ha I started talking to a group of three saying hey man we'll be back made a price got them off our back and obviously didnt go back ha ha!
When we did find a bunch of tiny little random, I mean Random meat/ markets that are very small and one after another we were able to get noodles, some sauce, a can of salmon Ha ha and some wierd bread! Oh yea a two cheap beers!
We went back and waited for some people to finish up with the kitchen and cooked our cheap cheap meal! When we finish a girl named Tiffany came in and she's a very nice girl that'd pretty conservitie and is studying in Florence!
She ate with us and it was nice! After dinner we did some dishes hung out in the lobby for a bit, then I headed up to grab my clothes and didn't even take a shower so I rocked my laundry out fit all night and headed up for the sky bar!
It was nice I met a cool girl that was teaching kids English in Spain and had a lot to say! I've met a lot of people at this hostel but I'm slacking on the pics with them ha ha! What ever can get it all..
Anyways I had a couple beers and got called out for not going out with a small group of people, I just wasn't feelin to go out and drink more at all, it's expensive and I made plans with Tom, Emily, and Matt for a big walk in the morning!
So I went to bed slept pretty good, except Ive been haveing crazy dreams where I feel like I'm talking in my sleep and making ab ass out of myself... But no one ever says anything idk it wierd ha ha..
But anyways lol
I got up took a shower and was ready by 9:30! I was just about to got to the lobby and emily cam up to my room and was like Zack are you ready? And I said yea I'm just gonna have a little breakfast and we'll go!
She was like well were waiting..
Ok... Well we talked about leaving at ten but you guys should just go cause I'm gonna enjoy my breakfast and I love walkin alone so no big deal!
Shes like well I really wanna wait but today's my last day so we made it 9:30 I want to get it all in..
I was like ok well its 9:35 so you better get going!
ha ha it was kinda funny!
But really I like putting in my head phones and doing my own thing and taking good pictures and stuff!
So I went and had breakfast and ended up chatting with Kate this girl that I always give a hard time ha ha she's fiesty! Lol
But she ended up taggin along with me to the top if the giant hill in Athens where you over look everything!! It was a hike! But well worth it!
Theres a little church on top and it's just really really cool!
After getting a little sweaty and feeling the wind at the top awwww it was a nice feeling!
When when Kate and I were about to head back down, we ran into Tiffany!
So we made plans to walk with her and it ended up working out! We all waked back Down together and went to the olpympic stadium! I had an orange off the orange trees that are every where on the way! :) mmmm people say dont eat them but what ever its nature and its and orange!
The stadium Is really big! I'm pretty sure that's were the olmympics were in 2004!
After that we ended up going to zeuses temple! It was just tiffany and i cause kate had already been there and i guess she didnt want to go agian.
That was really cool! Only a little bit still remain but WOW! I loved it!
After zueses temple Tiffany and I walked back towards the hostel and talke ld about a lot! It was a very nice walk!
when we got back near our hostel we looked for a bite to eat and then just ended up goin seperate ways. I was headed to the train station by metro and she was headed to walk through a big park!
So off to the train station I went! I made my way thro thru the very crowded metro, and found the staition no problem!
I didn't have an exact plan of where I was going I just had ideas and options! But i walked out with a train ticket that leaves tuesday to kalambaka, which is very close to a place called meteora, which is supposed to be beutifle! There our Many churches built right on the edges of giant cliffs, and should be worth seeing for a day or so!
Then I think it's off to Albania! Idk, I really really want to see instabul! I talked alot about it and it could very well happen!
So I back at the hostel now I have two more nights in greece and I'm lovin it!
The weathers beutifle, maybe a little to hot for Zack..
Ive seen some amazing things and might spend tomorrow at the beach!
I miss home so much tho I may have another month but I'm ready to see every one I love and miss so much!

went to another temple, and ended up back on the city streets! We walked thru heaps of people selling stuff,And I actually ended up buying some old Arabic bill, idk it was cheap and looked cool!
We thought we were headed to the hostel but ended up getting lost in the never ending streets and people of Athens! This is the most dense city I have ever been in! Really it's crazy!!!
Getto on one street busy on the next! Meat, and frui markets, illigals selling stuff every where! It's something else!
We finay just found a metro station and got back on track by taking the metro right to the stop our hostel is by!
and we went to the store to grab some cheap Dinner that Matt and I could split!
Ha ha finding a normal store is impossible, some "markets" are better than others but you just don't find a regular supermarket.. No way!
We walked down a pretty shady street, and got hassled to by some hash I tucked my camera string deep in my pocket and said I'm ok thanks! Ha ha I started talking to a group of three saying hey man we'll be back made a price got them off our back and obviously didnt go back ha ha!
When we did find a bunch of tiny little random, I mean Random meat/ markets that are very small and one after another we were able to get noodles, some sauce, a can of salmon Ha ha and some wierd bread! Oh yea a two cheap beers!
We went back and waited for some people to finish up with the kitchen and cooked our cheap cheap meal! When we finish a girl named Tiffany came in and she's a very nice girl that'd pretty conservitie and is studying in Florence!
She ate with us and it was nice! After dinner we did some dishes hung out in the lobby for a bit, then I headed up to grab my clothes and didn't even take a shower so I rocked my laundry out fit all night and headed up for the sky bar!
It was nice I met a cool girl that was teaching kids English in Spain and had a lot to say! I've met a lot of people at this hostel but I'm slacking on the pics with them ha ha! What ever can get it all..
Anyways I had a couple beers and got called out for not going out with a small group of people, I just wasn't feelin to go out and drink more at all, it's expensive and I made plans with Tom, Emily, and Matt for a big walk in the morning!
So I went to bed slept pretty good, except Ive been haveing crazy dreams where I feel like I'm talking in my sleep and making ab ass out of myself... But no one ever says anything idk it wierd ha ha..
But anyways lol
I got up took a shower and was ready by 9:30! I was just about to got to the lobby and emily cam up to my room and was like Zack are you ready? And I said yea I'm just gonna have a little breakfast and we'll go!
She was like well were waiting..
Ok... Well we talked about leaving at ten but you guys should just go cause I'm gonna enjoy my breakfast and I love walkin alone so no big deal!
Shes like well I really wanna wait but today's my last day so we made it 9:30 I want to get it all in..
I was like ok well its 9:35 so you better get going!
ha ha it was kinda funny!
But really I like putting in my head phones and doing my own thing and taking good pictures and stuff!
So I went and had breakfast and ended up chatting with Kate this girl that I always give a hard time ha ha she's fiesty! Lol
But she ended up taggin along with me to the top if the giant hill in Athens where you over look everything!! It was a hike! But well worth it!
Theres a little church on top and it's just really really cool!
After getting a little sweaty and feeling the wind at the top awwww it was a nice feeling!
When when Kate and I were about to head back down, we ran into Tiffany!
So we made plans to walk with her and it ended up working out! We all waked back Down together and went to the olpympic stadium! I had an orange off the orange trees that are every where on the way! :) mmmm people say dont eat them but what ever its nature and its and orange!
The stadium Is really big! I'm pretty sure that's were the olmympics were in 2004!
After that we ended up going to zeuses temple! It was just tiffany and i cause kate had already been there and i guess she didnt want to go agian.
That was really cool! Only a little bit still remain but WOW! I loved it!
After zueses temple Tiffany and I walked back towards the hostel and talke ld about a lot! It was a very nice walk!
when we got back near our hostel we looked for a bite to eat and then just ended up goin seperate ways. I was headed to the train station by metro and she was headed to walk through a big park!
So off to the train station I went! I made my way thro thru the very crowded metro, and found the staition no problem!
I didn't have an exact plan of where I was going I just had ideas and options! But i walked out with a train ticket that leaves tuesday to kalambaka, which is very close to a place called meteora, which is supposed to be beutifle! There our Many churches built right on the edges of giant cliffs, and should be worth seeing for a day or so!
Then I think it's off to Albania! Idk, I really really want to see instabul! I talked alot about it and it could very well happen!
So I back at the hostel now I have two more nights in greece and I'm lovin it!
The weathers beutifle, maybe a little to hot for Zack..
Ive seen some amazing things and might spend tomorrow at the beach!
I miss home so much tho I may have another month but I'm ready to see every one I love and miss so much!

Had a nice time with the brazilians! And a kick ass first night in munich!
Ok!
so after I updated my last blog Lucas, Pedro, and I walked around bratislava! We went to a nice little park and hung out for a little bit and then started making our way towards the castle!
It was far far the hostel and it was a very nice day so the walk was awsome!
Over looked the city and walked around all parts of the castle!
Then we walked by the palace which was a nice looking building!
After walking in the heat for a couple hours we were hungry and ended up going to a locals restraunt type of deal and got this mushey plate of something that wasn't good at all... It was cold actually, so I was kinda bummed on that.. Because he was going on and on about how great it was..
Any ways
we headed back and see what was goin on back at the hostel.. On our way back we passed an ice cream shop and everthings so cheap in Bratislava I had to have one!
This was the best ice cream I've ever had! So I had another one ha ha! Mmmmmmm
1,20€ for a triple scoop ice cream! Yea give me a couple of those!
So we all walked back and did some stuff on the computer! I booked a hostel and sent some couch surfing request! Oh yea and booked a flight Athens!
Then we all got kinda tired for some reason so i headed up for a nap and then around 9:30pm I grabbed a shower and then a beer!
Our hostel had very cheap beer like every where else in bratislava but it was very livley.. Idk
So we went walking with our beers and um fortiantly that was the most expensive beer I've had yet...
We got stopped by the polizea and he asked for our passports and what not.. And charged us all 30€ each... I was trying everything!
Like hey listen man, we just came from berlin and they were getting drunk in malls can you work with us, were sorry were sorry coorepertive, we dumped our beers and now we know! :) come on!
I ten euros on me any way..
So I told him I didn't have the 30€..
Ha ha and he said well... I suppose we can go to the police station and figure something out there but it will be more troubles and you can have some one pay by phone.. ya de ya de da..
So I was like what ever i have a card all go to an ATM, so is there one near by?
He said about 3 min walk down that street but we can take you, your call.
Well seeing how Id rather not get into your slovakian police car all just take a nice little stroll to the ATM..
So I did and he kept my pass port and I made sure I got that back along with my tickets for souvenier ha ha!
I wanted to ask for a picture with them!
But just took one one as the were driving away...
Any ways we shook that off and didn't let I ruin our night.. It's like what ever! Now I had 500 € fresh out of the ATM so let's go party!!!!!!
We were right on front of a hostel with a bar when this happened so we went in and had some more drinks!
We got three big beers for 3,30€ I was confused when he told me the price I thought for sure everybody owed 3,30€ this hostel was super cool with cool people and good music! So we stayed for a while then went to to a more up beat bar with a bunch of locals that were about our age!
we started talking to these three girls and they were super cool! Untill some guy comes up and is like hey boys! Your not trying to swoop up my ladies are you?
Well we were actually.. but now that your here and don't seem to be to happy about it I guess we'll just go have our selves a beer down stairs! Ha ha
He actually laughed and started being cool to us! The truth is always the best!
he introduced us to his friends we ended up taking a picture and drinking together!
I didn't see that happening at all but it was cool!
so a group of us went to another bar and danced and had a good old time!
Around 4 a.m I was done, the beers are too cheap and all do something I might regret if I don't head back.. Like now!
So we all made it back and had to check out in the morning at 10:00 am..... Ughhhh
I felt horrible but I was up and new I had to meet Lucas and pedro so I walked down to the lobby and checked out and layed on the couch waiting for them!
I didn't want to move and I figured they'd find me..
Ha ha and hour later they come basically wake me up and there like there you are!!
Uhhh I've been spraweld out on this couch for and hour, could you really not find me..
So idk... They found Me we checked train schedules to Vienna and there was a train every hour! So hung around for a little bit then had the hostel call us a taxi that cost us four euros! Ha ha we talked a taxi driver down to fifteen tk get tothe hostel... I knew it was a rip off, but you gotta learn from your mistakes..
So we caught a train at one and it was only about an hour an 20 minutes to vienna!
We arrived at one of the smaller train statons in Vienna, and our hostel was next to the west bonhouf which is the biggest I think?
We had to catch a tram to to the west bonhouf, and walk from there! Which normally would be no big deal but dam I felt soooo soo weak i don't know why.. Ha ha :)
I was a getting a little irittable I'm no gonna lie cause the brazilians I love em to death but there just and always questioned me and wanted me to explain why were doin this, or going that way or or or.. Ha ha idk it probably was just cause the way I felt.. And they were very sluggish as well and I just started feeling like a tour guide idk.. But It made me realize how much I've learned about getting around with trasnportation, being trains, trams and busses! :)
Any ways I got us to the hostel and we checked in and mosied up the room! I layed down real quick and just couldn't get up! Ha ha I needed a couple of hours of sleep!
We all ended up taking a nap untill about 7 and I slept sooo good! Seriously I was confused when I got up.. Like I thought it was morning.. Had that guilty feeling like wow we jay showed up and slept and last night was the brazilians only night.. Ha ha.. Nope just slept for about 4 hours!
When we all got showered and felt normal agian! It was tme to start the proccess over agian! Ha ha jk.. But seriously!
it was a Sunday night in Vienna the brazilians wanted to got a club.. I honestly wasn't feeling it after I saw the price of a beer at the hostel...
But we went walking down to the center area and it honestly felt like a host town.. It was soo quiet! Well besides a group of drunk woman in there fourties I'd say walking up to us and one gave me a hug, so I was huging her back and I look over and pedros hugging one and Lucas was just standing back ha ha!
One of the ladies was taking pictures so inwas like f it! Let's make these pics fun for them! So I picked up this little woman and she screamed lol then smiled for the pic! I'm sure they were lovin that in the morning! Ha ha
And sadly... I didn't get a pic.. Lame...
But it's another memorie!
so that gave us a little hope of maybe finding something goin on in Vienna on a Sunday night!
But...
We found a restruant pub type of deal and saw that the beers were 5,90€....
No I dont need to drink.. I hate to be a party pooper but my not on a four day trip like you guys I'm on a budget and have plenty of fun nights ahead! :)
They agreed that it was pretty rediculous so we started heading back towards the hostel!
When we got back to the hostel it was pretty cool! People were chillin in the bar and I got to talking to this guy from pakistan! He was a cool ass dude! I was talking to him about my travels and what's next, and I told him that I'm flying to greece and will make my way thru the balkins! Like albania, mosnia, Serbia, and what not! He said you Americans are crazy! Ha ha
I said why? He said cause you just are, and I would offer you to come visit me but the only way it could happen is in a suit case ha ha! I joked with him, like ok how bigs your suit case?
Any ways that's when the night got exiting! The brazilians came down to the bar and with them and here comes Tusie the Pakistani guy with four shots of tequila!
Ha ha this guy drank!
we must of had six shots in the matter of thirty minutes then predro bought me a long island ice tea! So After I was feeling real good and hadn't spent a dime I figured it was my turn to share some love!
I went to order four more shots ha ha and these girls said make it six! I said do have money? Ha ha
They laughed and i said make it six!! Woo hoo!
then there was a another girl so we couldnt Leave her out!
Ha ha it called for a good picture! An awesome night!
Tusie went to bed cause he had to catch a train a 6:20 in the morning ha ha I don't know how he did that but.... He did!
so we hung out with these girls all night and it turned out to be a lot of fun! The bought me another drink and it was just bad ha ha!
The next morning the guy said hey man your alive! And he explAined to me how I got to my room, lol!
He said I was putting my door key on all the sensors to all the doors in my hall way and he ended up taking me to the right one! But it's confusing sober let alone the state I was in ha ha!
Its bad when you wake up in you jacket, jeans, beanie, and shoes on....
So the next morning wasn't fun what's so ever I had to check out with I was three hours late for.. Good thing! I needed that sleep for sure!
I booked another night because I reserved a train for the next day to Munich!
Lucas and pedros flight got canelled because ofthe volcano crazyness... But the didn't want to stay.. They were trippen about missing more school..
I was like it's breaking news all over Europe and your in the same boat as about 100,000 other people! Your teacher will under stand.. I think.. Ha ha
But they ended up gettin a train to Paris with four tranfers and then they Have to take the euro star to London which is expensive...
A day of travelling at least! I hope they made it ok! They were confused getting from Bratislava to Vienna.. Ha ha
All send them a message when I get off this train and to my hostel in Munich!
So yesterday was mellow we walked around taking pictures and my camera died... Sad...
But I made up for it this morning..
but yea we just walked around and saw the city during the day for the first time, and then grabbed some pizza from the store cooked that and ended up meeting some very pompous canadians... I'm not one to judge but they bothered me because they judged every one and always had something to say about some one or something...
Ha ha this drunk guy stumbled in on one of there pool games and spoke no English but you could clearley get the point that he wanted to play a game!
So after about five minutes of these canadians giving this guy shit I called next game with the drunk guy! :) ha ha
They said oh I think were gonna be a while...
I said oh and why is that they said uhh because were having a tournament..
I said well then it's gonna go for a litlle longer because see that sign right there thAt says... Table must be given to new players upon order of request...
Ha ha so there was four of them and we we waited for the other two to play and went on with are game and gave the table back!
I lost agianst this drunk Italian ha ha but it was fun!
After Lucas and pedro took of on there seven o clock train I just kinda hung out and did some Internet randomness.. And found out that Im meeting up with three fellow couch surfers in Munich! Yea!
Im glad I got a hostel tho because all probably go out with them then come back and just crash or relax!
I ended up hanging out with the Dereck for a while and chatting with him about all sorts of stuff!
Then the girls came and invited us to play drinking games, with the canadians that just talk about them selves and other people.. So I didn't join them for a while, but after the second invite I did.. Dereck came over and sat down as well and right off the bat they gave him shit..
I bought a small beer for two euros cause the girls and apparently the Canadians were off to Amsterdam in like an hour and a half on A night train, and I wanted a mellow night any ways!
After an hour of talking about just random stuff and listening to all the reasons the canadians are glad there not American, it was time for them to leave..
The one girl in the group and I got along really good, she told me she didn't like those kids either.. But there all goin to Amsterdam together.. Idk
But I gave her a hug, and said bye to the rest!
oh yea and cleaned a big mess with dereck that the guys were to cool to clean up..
Dereck was leaving daly and offered to by me a beer before I headed off to bed.. So I said why not..
He bought us both a liter ha ha but we drank it slow and talked! He's a cool kid!
You can tell he's conservitive and thinks I'm a little nuts but that's ok...
He says crappy all the time ha ha or when something is good or cool he say oh that is the crap! Ha ha random I know but it was just funny!
Then I don't know how it happened bit he went a little preacher status on me but remained very open minded on our different views just like myself.. So we ended the night talking about religion ha ha!
I must say he has read his fair share of the bible!
But any ways that brings us to this morning!
I woke up and ten feelin good! I walked around with my juggeling stick which I always love to do! Took pictures to make up for yesterday when my camera was dead!
Went the store and bought a bunch of fruit for the train ride and I'm making a plan to strat eating better, and cheaper!
I talked to his kid in the lobby for a while and then headed out for my train at 2:20!
Now I'm on the train! And still about an hour from Munich!
When I get to my hostel I'm gonna update this blog and meet the girls I talked to on couch surfers!

First day and night in Munich!
....... I didn't have time to update yesterday because, I got to my hostel at about seven thirty and I found out that the plan was that i was going to meet these girls at the spring fest which is like a smaller version of the October fest!
We planned to meet at 7, 7:30, and 8 hoping one of thoses would work.. So I checked in tooled a quick shower and walked at a quick pace to the spring fest and met them no problem three minutes to eight! It was perfect!
So I ended up hanging ou with these four girls that were super cool and we drank and danced on the tables in a giant tent! Is was awsome! Three liters later I was jumpin from table to table ha ha I was lovin it!!
Then betty walked with me back to my hostel and Stephanie took the other two girls laura and hilary back to her house cause, Stephanie was hosting them!
This morning was rough, but I got up took a shower and checked out!
Then I went to claim my free breakfast for staying at two wombat hostels! There's three one in berlin, one in Vienna and one in Munich!
What to get if you stay in all three? A free tee shirt...
No thanks! I'd rather have the breakfast! Then slept in th hammock in the chill area for about two hours! :)
I met this black guy that was in my room last night, and he was kinda wierd besides him basically telling me everything I had to do before I got in the shower this morning.... he wanted me to go everywhere with him.. First London, then just to the airport to check his flight status.. Then we wanted to come to the train station with me.. Then breakfast..
I was no no no man I'm sitting right here and not moving! I've got some stuff to catch up on..
He finally went to the airport and I started chatting with this Canadian girl, and Now were gonna go walk around! So I'm for sure putting this blog on line right now!!!

I was like it's breaking news all over Europe and your in the same boat as about 100,000 other people! Your teacher will under stand.. I think.. Ha ha
But they ended up gettin a train to Paris with four tranfers and then they Have to take the euro star to London which is expensive...
A day of travelling at least! I hope they made it ok! They were confused getting from Bratislava to Vienna.. Ha ha
All send them a message when I get off this train and to my hostel in Munich!
So yesterday was mellow we walked around taking pictures and my camera died... Sad...
But I made up for it this morning..
but yea we just walked around and saw the city during the day for the first time, and then grabbed some pizza from the store cooked that and ended up meeting some very pompous canadians... I'm not one to judge but they bothered me because they judged every one and always had something to say about some one or something...
Ha ha this drunk guy stumbled in on one of there pool games and spoke no English but you could clearley get the point that he wanted to play a game!
So after about five minutes of these canadians giving this guy shit I called next game with the drunk guy! :) ha ha
They said oh I think were gonna be a while...
I said oh and why is that they said uhh because were having a tournament..
I said well then it's gonna go for a litlle longer because see that sign right there thAt says... Table must be given to new players upon order of request...
Ha ha so there was four of them and we we waited for the other two to play and went on with are game and gave the table back!
I lost agianst this drunk Italian ha ha but it was fun!
After Lucas and pedro took of on there seven o clock train I just kinda hung out and did some Internet randomness.. And found out that Im meeting up with three fellow couch surfers in Munich! Yea!
Im glad I got a hostel tho because all probably go out with them then come back and just crash or relax!
I ended up hanging out with the Dereck for a while and chatting with him about all sorts of stuff!
Then the girls came and invited us to play drinking games, with the canadians that just talk about them selves and other people.. So I didn't join them for a while, but after the second invite I did.. Dereck came over and sat down as well and right off the bat they gave him shit..
I bought a small beer for two euros cause the girls and apparently the Canadians were off to Amsterdam in like an hour and a half on A night train, and I wanted a mellow night any ways!
After an hour of talking about just random stuff and listening to all the reasons the canadians are glad there not American, it was time for them to leave..
The one girl in the group and I got along really good, she told me she didn't like those kids either.. But there all goin to Amsterdam together.. Idk
But I gave her a hug, and said bye to the rest!
oh yea and cleaned a big mess with dereck that the guys were to cool to clean up..
Dereck was leaving daly and offered to by me a beer before I headed off to bed.. So I said why not..
He bought us both a liter ha ha but we drank it slow and talked! He's a cool kid!
You can tell he's conservitive and thinks I'm a little nuts but that's ok...
He says crappy all the time ha ha or when something is good or cool he say oh that is the crap! Ha ha random I know but it was just funny!
Then I don't know how it happened bit he went a little preacher status on me but remained very open minded on our different views just like myself.. So we ended the night talking about religion ha ha!
I must say he has read his fair share of the bible!
But any ways that brings us to this morning!
I woke up and ten feelin good! I walked around with my juggeling stick which I always love to do! Took pictures to make up for yesterday when my camera was dead!
Went the store and bought a bunch of fruit for the train ride and I'm making a plan to strat eating better, and cheaper!
I talked to his kid in the lobby for a while and then headed out for my train at 2:20!
Now I'm on the train! And still about an hour from Munich!
When I get to my hostel I'm gonna update this blog and meet the girls I talked to on couch surfers!

First day and night in Munich!
....... I didn't have time to update yesterday because, I got to my hostel at about seven thirty and I found out that the plan was that i was going to meet these girls at the spring fest which is like a smaller version of the October fest!
We planned to meet at 7, 7:30, and 8 hoping one of thoses would work.. So I checked in tooled a quick shower and walked at a quick pace to the spring fest and met them no problem three minutes to eight! It was perfect!
So I ended up hanging ou with these four girls that were super cool and we drank and danced on the tables in a giant tent! Is was awsome! Three liters later I was jumpin from table to table ha ha I was lovin it!!
Then betty walked with me back to my hostel and Stephanie took the other two girls laura and hilary back to her house cause, Stephanie was hosting them!
This morning was rough, but I got up took a shower and checked out!
Then I went to claim my free breakfast for staying at two wombat hostels! There's three one in berlin, one in Vienna and one in Munich!
What to get if you stay in all three? A free tee shirt...
No thanks! I'd rather have the breakfast! Then slept in th hammock in the chill area for about two hours! :)
I met this black guy that was in my room last night, and he was kinda wierd besides him basically telling me everything I had to do before I got in the shower this morning.... he wanted me to go everywhere with him.. First London, then just to the airport to check his flight status.. Then we wanted to come to the train station with me.. Then breakfast..
I was no no no man I'm sitting right here and not moving! I've got some stuff to catch up on..
He finally went to the airport and I started chatting with this Canadian girl, and Now were gonna go walk around! So I'm for sure putting this blog on line right now!!!
I miss everybody!
I miss my family, friends, the purple bean, fresh mex, Jimmy johns, duke, and my sweet Volvo ha ha
