WOW!! this is the trip i had planned!

OK so to explain what im feeling right know is gonna be hard! explaining feelings is never easy but im gonna try..
So Ireland was kick ass and soo much fun but i kept thinking that it kinda was like America, except the cars travel on different sides of the road and the Irish have an accent and jay walking is completely legal! ha ha any ways it wasn't exactly what i would call a culture shock!
THEN I CAUGHT I FLIGHT TO GERMANY!
This is the craziest experience ive ever had! its like staring over almost! where do i start...
the language barrier is a crazy thing over here with all the mixed culture, and of course me being 100% percent American lol and only knowing English!
im lucky to have elfi here to help me with things! last night was the coolest night ever i met her friend fay! she was a sweet heart and we went to her house and hung out for a while! the conversation was halarious because the other guy that was there knew Arabic as his first language and german and a little bit of english.. ha ha he could understand me most of the time i think but he wasnt very confident in talking it! so of course some one that spoke german helped him understand and he´d give a head nod or a smile! idk i guess its all about the body language!
i could go on for hours on the language barrier experiencs i encounter because they happen every time i talk ha ha! for example the phrase nice to meet you
does not exist over here! they wouldnt even translate that to german!
any ways
i was at lunch today with Güntha and elfi and it was funny! first i get a menu that no way could i possibly ever understand so i just got what Güntha had, and it was really good!
but the waitress was asking me what beer id like in german so elfi helped and translated! ha ha then elfi and her chatted away and kept looking at me and at the end of there conversation the waitress looked at me and said awwwwww, das so good for you! and smiled and gave me a thumbs up
here i am just smilin like ahero nodding my head like yep mmm hmmm thats it well thanks i guess ha ha!
WHAT WILL I DO WHEN THERE'S NO TRANSLATORS AROUND!!

ha ha we were on the bus today and there was a long announcement in german OBVIOUSLY!!
and i turned to elfi and was like.. what did he say!!
she said of i guess the bus is going to make a little detour cause the other one is broken and needs dis one to get some other people! ha ha so i asked her how the hell would i know that! she said you wouldnt lol
yea your kinda right id be a little screwed!
ALL I CAN SAY IT LET THE ADVENTURE BEGIN!
Im meeting someone tomorrow that i hope speaks good english! Wencke is pretty german sounding so i dont know ha ha!
Elfis keeping me super busy with going out and seeing things so shes waiting on me now!
gotta wra it up but theres so much to say!
like i said its hard to explain feelings but this is a feeling ive never felt before!
i havnt heard an english conversation in well over 24 hours now!8(
beside when i talk...
i love it and im making it through!
miss you guys lots and if for some reason this doesn't get updated.. well start to worry ha ha

oh yeah one more thing the Germans are very serious! so who ever told me that, because many people did! thanks for the heads up and your right!
they look at me like im up to something or on something!
ha ha and they look like there having a bad day...
its pretty crazy!
even the young people carry a very serious look!
im off to Frankfurt where all have no translators! ha ha wish me luck!
they don't give an English version to anything ha ha
